The Raspberry Pi 400 is a personal computer built into a compact keyboard, offering the equivalent of a Raspberry Pi 4B board. It comes integrated with an AZERTY keyboard and includes a mouse, power supply, HDMI cable, micro-SD card, and an official Raspberry Pi beginner's guide in French.

This kit is ideal for learning programming and development under Linux, document editing (text, spreadsheets), multimedia content playback, and internet access.

The Raspberry Pi 400 features a processor with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz, slightly faster than the Raspberry Pi 4's 1.5 GHz. Its components are cooled by a silent, passive cooling system without a fan.

This computer can connect to one or two monitors with resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) via its two micro-HDMI ports. WiFi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet interfaces are also included.

Like traditional Raspberry Pi boards, this model operates using a micro-SD card containing a Linux-based operating system, such as Raspberry Pi OS (formerly Raspbian), or any other compatible system.

The GPIO port, which allows access to the board's I/O, is located on the upper side of the keyboard, along with other connectors.

Notes

The GPIO port is integrated into the case, making it less accessible than on classic models. For using HATs or expansion modules, it is recommended to add a ribbon cable to extend the connector (see recommended items).
This keyboard features 3 USB ports (2 x USB 3.0 and 1 x USB 2.0), compared to the 4 USB ports on a Raspberry Pi 4 board.
Note: This version does not have a standard audio Jack output; audio is available only through the two HDMI ports. A USB sound card is available separately (see FIT0895).
