2. Operation Guide

2.1 Factory Reset

For first-time use, perform a factory reset. Long press the "Factory reset" button. A beep will sound every 1 second. After 5 seconds, a prompt will appear: "Factory reset, press the # button to confirm". Press the # button to confirm the reset. The voice prompt will be "Successful initialization".

2.2 Experience Mode

In the factory state, entering any fingerprint, sensor card, or the default factory password (123456) allows unlocking. Upon successful unlocking, the voice prompt will be "unlocked, demonstration mode, please register as a user".

3. Door Lock Menu

Support entering the menu through the following methods:

  1. Short press the door setting button once.
  2. Press the "*" and "#" buttons.

Function Menu

The system will play a voice prompt: "For administrator settings, press 1. For user settings, press 2. For system settings, press 3. For factory settings, press 4. For information queries, press 5".

Language selection is available:

Flow: In the initialization state [next step] Wake-up Status [next step] Press the *# key.

Press the *# key

Please enter the administrator information (e.g., default password 123456) and press '#' to confirm.

Press 1 for administrator settings

Press 3 for network settings

Press 2 for user settings

Press 3 for system settings

Press 4 to restore to factory settings

Press '#' to confirm for restoring to factory settings.

Press 5 for information inquiry

3.1 Add regular users

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint/password/sensor card [next step] Press 2 to select "User Settings" [next step] Press 1 to select "Add User" [next step] Follow the voice prompt to enter the fingerprint, password or sensor card [next step] XXX record successfully.

Fingerprint

To add a fingerprint, press it 5 times. The fingerprint cannot be entered repeatedly. When registering, lift the finger and press different parts of the same finger for better verification of unlocking.

Password

If the passwords entered twice do not match, the voice will play: "alarm sound". The registration password is 6-8 digits. Pressing '#' with less than 6 digits is invalid.

3.2 Add an administrator

The process of adding an administrator is consistent with adding a regular user. If 9 administrators have been added, the voice playback will indicate a "margin of 0".

3.3 Delete administrator user

3.3.1 Delete by number

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint/password/sensor card [next step] Press 2 to select "User Settings" [next step] Press 2 to select "Delete Administrator" [next step] Enter the number of the administrator to be deleted [next step] Operate successfully.

Note: The administrator user currently validated in the menu cannot be deleted.

3.4 Delete regular users

3.4.1 Delete by number

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint/password/sensor card [next step] Press 2 to select "User Settings" [next step] Press 2 to select "Delete User" [next step] Enter the number of the user to be deleted [next step] Operate successfully.

3.4.2 Delete all

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 2 to select "User Settings" [next step] Press 2 to select "Delete All" [next step] Operate successfully.

3.5 Networking settings

1. Add network

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "Networking Settings" [next step] Press 1 to select "Administrator Settings" [next step] Press 1 to select "Hotspot connection" [next step] In network configuration...... [next step] Operate successfully.

2. Delete network

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "Networking Settings" [next step] Press 1 to select "Administrator Settings" [next step] Press 3 to select "Delete Connection" [next step] Delete..... from the connection [next step] Operate successfully.

Lock end operation steps: Enter the settings menu, press "1" to enter administrator settings, press "3" to enter networking settings, press "1" to enter hotspot connection.

APP operation steps: Please refer to the user manual for the APP selected by the customer.

3.6 System settings

3.6.1 Unlock mode

The system plays the voice: "1. Single unlock, 2. Combination unlock".

Single unlock flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "System Settings" [next step] Press 2 to select "Unlocking Mode" [next step] Press 1 to select "Single Unlock" [next step] Operate successfully.

Combination unlock flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "System Settings" [next step] Press 2 to select "Unlocking Mode" [next step] Press 2 to select "Combination Unlock" [next step] Operate successfully.

Initialization state note: If in initialization state, play voice: "alarm sound" + "operation failure" + "stock 0". If the number of users is less than 1 group, play the voice: "alarm sound" + "operation failure" + "stock 1".

3.6.2 Room number setting

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "System Settings" [next step] Press 4 to select "Room Number Settings" [next step] Enter room number [next step] Operate successfully.

Enter the room number setting menu and the voice prompt will be "Room number XXXX, please modify". The default room number is 8888, with a setting range of 0-9999. If the room number is entered with 4 digits, it will be reset to the factory settings.

3.6.3 Anti prying settings

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "System Settings" [next step] Press 5 to select "Anti-prying Settings" (Turn Anti-prying detection on/off).

3.6.4 Voice settings

1. Open voice

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "System Settings" [next step] Press 1 to select "Voice Settings/Language Selection" [next step] Press 1 to select "Open voice" [next step] Open voice [next step] Operate successfully.

2. Turn off voice

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "System Settings" [next step] Press 1 to select "Voice Settings/Language Selection" [next step] Press 2 to select "Close Voice" [next step] Close voice [next step] Operate successfully.

3.6.5 Time setting

Flow: Press *# to enter [next step] Enter the administrator fingerprint password/sensor card [next step] Press 3 to select "System Settings" [next step] Press 3 to select "Time Settings" [next step] Enter year (1970-2099) [next step] Enter month (01-12) [next step] Enter date (01-31) [next step] Enter time (00-23) [next step] Enter min (00-59) [next step] Press the '#' button to confirm [next step] Operate successfully.

3.6.6 Information query

1.Query by time

4. Unlock operation

4.1 Unlock outside the door

The user's fingerprint and password sensor card have been successfully verified, and the motor is turning forward to unlock. After successfully unlocking, the voice prompt will be "unlocked".

Attention:

  1. Please keep the sensor card safe to prevent it from being copied.
  2. Please check if there are any foreign objects on the surface of the fingerprint sensor to prevent fingerprint data from being tampered with.

5.Doorbell function

Press the "doorbell" button on the door lock to sound a "ding-dong..." doorbell. If connected to the network, the message "requesting remote unlocking" will be played after the doorbell.

6.Test opening the freezing function

When the number of consecutive errors in fingerprints, passwords, and sensing cards within 5 minutes is ≥ 3, an audible and visual alarm will be issued. When the number of consecutive errors within 5 minutes is ≥ 5 times, the system freezes for 90 seconds and cannot recognize fingerprints, passwords, or sensing cards for another 90 seconds.

7.Battery level detection

Attention: If the battery is low, please charge it in a timely manner to avoid shutting down after running out of battery.

8. Anti prying alarm

When the anti prying alarm is triggered and continues for 60 seconds, the user cannot operate the keyboard. The alarm status can be lifted by registering the user card or fingerprint.

9. Emergency power supply

When the battery is depleted and there is no key, an external power supply can be connected, and the door can be opened according to the normal operating procedures.

Attention:

  1. Please charge the emergency power promptly after opening the door.
  2. It is recommended to use a power bank or charger with an output current of 2A or above for external power supply.

Networking Instructions (Hot Distribution Network & Intelligent Distribution Network)

  1. Download the app: Doodle Smart. Open Doodle Smart and click on "Add Device" or "+" in the upper right corner.
  2. On the Add Device page, in the Camera/Lock menu, click on "Door Lock (Wi Fi)".
  3. Ensure that the phone is connected to WiFi and the WiFi is 2.4GHz. Click Next.
  4. Then click on the door lock to enter the distribution network status. Click on confirm and proceed to the next step on the Doodle Smart APP.
  5. Wait for the successful distribution network.
