Installation Instructions and Operations
Required Tools
- Hand Drill
- Wire Stripper
- Ruler
Installation Steps
- When installing or connecting the power input line, turn off the power and ensure the product's IP rating is maintained.
- Install the charger where the connector can easily reach the vehicle inlet.
- The charger requires wireless internet. Obstacles like drywall, plastic, wood, metal, mirrors, brick, concrete can interfere with wireless signals. Check radio reception at the installation site. If a mobile device has service (3G, LTE, Wi-Fi), the charger should connect.
- When wiring the power input line, identify the voltage (L), neutral (N), and ground (G) wires. Confirm single-phase power (220 VAC) between voltage and neutral wires. Incorrect wiring (e.g., three-phase 380 VAC) can damage the charger's fuse.
Install Guide
Important: Ensure the AC power circuit breaker is OFF before starting.
Step 1: Mounting Bracket
Keep the Guide Paper attached to the wall. Assemble the screw anchor through the wall using a 0.24in drill. Recommended: Position the bottom end of the guide paper above 55.1 inches from the floor.
Step 2: Secure Charger to Wall
After opening the Charger, use the accompanying anchor bolt to secure it to the wall through a white rubber cap. Do not remove the white rubber cap; it remains in place.
Step 3: Access Terminal Base
Remove the plastic terminal base cover. The cover can be removed when the hooks are gathered inwards. Be careful not to break the hooks.
Step 4: Connect Power Line
Connect the power line using the enclosed Insulated Ring Terminal (M6) after checking the L/N/G wires and ensuring adequate torque (1.84 lbf.ft). Assemble the removed terminal base cover. Ensure the power source connection to the Insulated Ring Terminal is insulated to prevent short circuits.
Step 5: Lock Charger
Insert the enclosed KEY into the center of the right side of the Charger and turn it counter-clockwise (CCW) to lock. Ensure it is locked properly.
Step 6: Final Setup
After installing the cable rest, set up the wires and Charging Cable, ready for use.
