This guide provides instructions for installing the Samsung WMN-B16FB Full Motion Slim Wall Mount.
Compatibility and Preparation
This wall mount is compatible with VESA mounting patterns of 400x300 mm and 400x400 mm.
Important Pre-installation Step: Before installing the wall mount, connect the power cable or OC cable to the TV.
Check TV Compatibility: Verify the size and installation position of the wall mount for your specific TV model. Compatible models include A-DU8000~9000, Q60~70A-D, Q80C,D (55”,65”,75”,85”), QN80~95A-D, LS03A-D, S95C,D, QN700~900A-D, A-DU7000, Q80A,B, Q80C,D (50”), S95B, S85D, S90B-D.
Installation Steps
The installation process involves several steps, including attaching brackets to the TV and mounting the bracket to the wall.
Step 1: Attaching Brackets to TV
Attach the brackets (B and C) to the back of the TV using the provided screws (M8x26 for B, M8x42 for C). Ensure the components are turned at least three and a half revolutions and tightened securely using the supplied tool.
For specific models like 55QN95B, 55QN700A/B, S95C, the minimum distance to the wall is 19.5 mm plus the thickness of the OC cable.
Step 2: Wall Mounting Preparation
Wall Type Considerations:
- Concrete/Brick Walls: Refer to standard installation conditions for concrete and brick walls (provided on a separate sheet).
- Drywall: Do not fix the mount to drywall without reinforcement. If the wall is not concrete, consult a professional.
- Wood Walls: For wood installation, drill holes (3 mm) before attaching screws. A standard stud distance (16 inches) is supported.
Step 3: Mounting the Bracket to the Wall
Follow the diagrams to securely mount the wall bracket to the wall using the appropriate hardware (H).
Step 4: Attaching the TV to the Wall Mount
Carefully lift the TV and attach it to the wall-mounted bracket. Ensure it is securely locked in place.
Cable Management and Final Checks
OC Cable Removal/Connection: For models using an OC cable (43" to 75"), remove the TV from the wall mount before disconnecting or connecting the OC cable. Similarly, for connecting cables to the USB 2.0 port on 43" to 55" models with OC cables, remove the TV from the wall mount first.
VESA Pattern Selection: Ensure you select the correct VESA pattern (400x300 or 400x400) for your TV.
Final Tightening: Use the provided tool to securely tighten all components.
