"Eclipse innovation is expected to be a game changer for patients,"
Mary Susan Esther, MD, past president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and Data Safety Monitoring Board Chairperson, stated in a release.
Eclipse uses MagSealTM Magnetic technology (each port has a 65 mT magnetic strength) to ensure a clinically proven leak free seal. Bleep received an innovation grant from the National Institute of Health for Eclipse. The Eclipse Frame has 2 nostril ports. Each port contains 8 magnets (1a) which adhere to stainless steel rings (1b) on each Halo (nightly disposable nasal pillows).
Nothing enters the nares. Gentle, surgical grade adhesive creates a seal on the nose, allowing unrestricted airflow. (1c)
