SteelSeries provides remedies equivalent to consumer guarantee provisions within 24 months of purchase. For goods, remedies for major failure include returning the product for a refund, an identical replacement, or compensation for value drop. For services, remedies include contract cancellation for a refund or negotiated price reduction.

A major failure occurs when a consumer would not have purchased the product knowing the problem, the product differs significantly from its description, is substantially unfit for its normal or stated purpose, or is unsafe.
