And welcome to Vera, the smarter home control solution that makes your home safer and your life easier. It's easy to set up your PlugHub. Here's what you need to do.
Step 1: Install the Vera App
Install the Vera app on your mobile device. Look for the [Vera App Icon] in the iOS App Store or on Google Play. If you already have the Vera app, log in and select "Add New Controller".
Links to download the app are available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Step 2: Select PlugHub in the App
Open your Vera app and select "PlugHub" from the controller list.

Step 3: Power On the PlugHub
Now, plug your PlugHub into a wall outlet. It will power on automatically. The blue LED indicator on the PlugHub will blink approximately once per second.

Step 4: Connect to PlugHub Wi-Fi
The PlugHub will create a temporary Wi-Fi network named "PlugHub_XXXX" (where XXXX represents a unique identifier). The Vera app will prompt you to go to your mobile device's Wi-Fi settings menu to connect to this network.
The app screen indicates that the user should go to device settings to connect to the PlugHub Wi-Fi network.
If the temporary network is not visible, tap "Need Help" in the app for troubleshooting tips.
Step 5: Complete Setup in App
Once you have selected the "PlugHub" network on your mobile device, return to the Vera app and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup process. While your PlugHub is connecting to your home Wi-Fi, its blue LED should blink once every three seconds.

Step 6: Setup Successful
Congratulations, your PlugHub has been set up successfully. The LED indicator on the PlugHub will now remain a steady color, indicating it is online and ready.

Step 7: Create Vera Account
Now it's time to create your Vera account. The app will guide you through the account creation process. Once completed, your account will automatically be linked to your PlugHub.

Step 8: Add Devices
To utilize your PlugHub, you can now plug in devices like lamps or add other compatible devices such as sensors or a thermostat to your Vera system. To add devices, tap the menu icon ☰ in the top-left corner of the Vera dashboard, select "Devices", and then tap the "+" sign to launch the Device Pairing Wizard.

Notifications
Your Vera system can send alerts via text or email to you or other designated users about events happening at home. Receive notifications for specific events, such as a front door opening or motion detection outside. You can set up alerts for a wide range of activities.
