DocumentDocumentInstallation of the Rockways waterfall. Thank you for purchasing one of our stunning waterfalls. Please ensure that the waterfall is positioned over the pond edge on a level surface so that the water flows off the feature evenly. After you have confirmed its placement, you will need to provide support for the feature. Blocks, bricks, and sleepers are suitable for this purpose. We recommend using breeze/cello blocks for support. Ensure that the waterfall is slightly higher at the back to allow the water to flow down effectively. The level of support required will depend on the angle you want for the feature. The amount of support may need to be adjusted, especially for certain stream sections like our FGRS14/15/16. Increase the height of the support until you are satisfied with the angle, adding more support as needed. Once you are content with the support and angle, test the feature by running water down it. This will help you make any necessary adjustments to the support, adding or removing support as needed. Our water features come with a built-in hose connector. Make sure to remove the skin covering the hole to allow water to flow through. This can be done by pushing it through by hand or cutting it out with a blade. Connect a flexible hose to the stepped hose tail screwed into the back of the waterfall and secure it with a jubilee clip. Run the hose alongside or under the waterfall and into the pond. Once you have the desired length, attach the other end of the flexible hose to the pump that will be submerged in the pond. For the best results, backfill around the waterfall using a dry mix of sand and cement, and then soil. You can dress the finished feature as you wish.
