Safety Features

1. Dynamic Surround View: This system enhances visibility by incorporating a digital rear-view mirror with cameras located above the rear door and in the nearside exterior door mirror. It extends the view beyond traditional rear-view mirrors. Features include: Side blind spot detection for clear visibility of obstacles on the nearside. Visiopark 180° rear parking camera, which works with parking sensors to provide a wider view on the digital display screen, automatically activating when reverse gear is engaged or rear doors are opened.

2. Intelligent Speed Assistance: The system recognizes speed limit signs and provides visual warnings for local restrictions, followed by an acoustic warning if the limit is exceeded. High beam assist automatically switches between high and dipped beam headlights to avoid dazzling other drivers. Lane keep assist provides corrective steering actions to help prevent the vehicle from crossing painted boundary lines or road edges, if the driver has not actively steered or signalled.

3. Active Cruise Control with Stop and Go Facility: This system maintains the set speed. If a slower vehicle is detected ahead, it automatically reduces the vehicle's speed to maintain a safe distance. It requires a minimum speed of 19mph with a manual transmission. For automatic transmissions, the system can bring the vehicle to a complete standstill if necessary. Driver attention alert monitors driving time and issues warnings after two and three hours of continuous driving, also analysing driving patterns via the front camera and steering wheel movements.

4. Forward Collision Alert incorporating Advance Emergency Braking System (AEBS): This system provides visual and audible warnings of potential collisions. If the driver does not react, autonomous emergency braking is triggered to mitigate or avoid impact by reducing vehicle speed. AEBS assists in optimizing braking performance, with a dynamic brake support function to further minimize stopping distances.

WLTP figures are based on a configured vehicle as per LCDV code for UK with no options fitted as at 3 February 2022. #Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption and CO2 values of other vehicles tested to the same technical standard. The fuel consumption achieved, and CO2 produced, in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); variations in weather; driving styles and vehicle load. Glossary of Terms

• Plated weight: The maximum weight a vehicle or axle can be loaded to, determined by design or legislation. Commercial vehicles display a manufacturer's plate showing gross plated weights for the vehicle and axles. Exceeding these weights is an offence.
• Minimum Mass: Defined by European Type Approval, includes all fluids, tools, and 90% fuel load. It's the minimum mass for a variant and doesn't account for local specification/trim or deletable options. Subject to manufacturing tolerances (EU Legislation allows 5% tolerance).
• Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW): The total permissible weight of a vehicle, including payload and passengers, as indicated on the manufacturer's plate.
• Gross Combination Weight (GCW): The maximum permissible weight of a vehicle, including payload and passengers, combined with any trailer it is towing. This limit is shown on the vehicle plate and must not be exceeded.
• Payload: The total permissible weight that can be carried without exceeding the vehicle's plated weight. It excludes the driver but considers specification/trim level. Subject to manufacturing tolerances (EU Legislation allows 5% tolerance). Does not account for additional customer-ordered options.
• Roof loads: Roof load should not exceed 100kg, including the weight of the roof rack/carrier.
• Maximum towing weight: The maximum weight of a trailer and its load that can be towed within the vehicle's GCW limit. This is based on the vehicle's ability to restart on a 12% gradient at sea level. Engine output may decrease at altitudes above 1500 metres, affecting towing capability. Operators must ensure trailer noseweight does not exceed the towing vehicle's rear axle plated weight. Always use Vauxhall towing attachments and accessories for compatibility and warranty.
• Commercial Vehicle Categories: Differentiates between M1/N1 and M2/N2 (Vehicles with GVW above 3500kg). Category M covers passenger carriers (M1: up to 8 seats + driver; M2: more than 8 seats + driver, max 5 tonnes). Category N covers goods vehicles (N1: max 3.5 tonnes; N2: over 3.5 tonnes but max 12 tonnes).
