Accessing the Web GUI

You can customize your ONT's configuration using the web graphical user interface. Altering the default configuration is not recommended if you are unfamiliar with the settings.

  1. Set the LAN setting to obtain an IP Address automatically.
  2. Open a web browser and enter the default gateway IP address http://192.168.254.254 in the address bar. The default gateway IP address is printed on the product label on the back panel of the ONT. You can connect to this IP address using your web browser after connecting your PC to one of the Ethernet ports of the ONT. Your PC's static IP address must be in the same subnet as the ONT. The login window will appear.
  3. Enter your username and password in the login window. The default username and password are printed on the product label on the back panel of the ONT.
  4. Click Login.

The web GUI displays device information and provides options for WAN status, Network settings, Wi-Fi settings, and other configuration changes. Altering network settings is not recommended when internet connections are already established and working.

After logging in, you can check the ONT's internet and Wi-Fi connection status on the "dashboard and status" page. You can configure LAN/Wi-Fi attributes by clicking the configuration item on the left.

The image shows the Nokia ONT web GUI interface with sections for Dashboard & Status, Wi-Fi Settings, LAN settings, Device Info, and Advanced Settings. It displays network status, connected devices, IP addresses, and various configuration options.
