Key Features
Mimics Natural Feeding
The nipple's unique design ensures milk only flows when the baby actively sucks, mirroring the natural milk ejection reflex during breastfeeding. This helps babies easily transition between breast and bottle feeding.

Natural Shape and Latch
The wide, soft, and flexible silicone nipple is shaped like a breast, helping your baby to naturally latch on and feed comfortably.
Anti-Colic Valve
The anti-colic valve is designed to prevent air from entering the baby's tummy, helping to reduce colic and discomfort.

Anti-Drip Design
The anti-drip nipple opening is engineered to allow milk to flow only during feeding, preventing milk leakage and spills whether at home or on the go.

Variable Flow Rates
Philips Avent offers a range of flow rates (1 to 6) to accommodate your baby's growth and feeding pace. This ensures you can find the perfect match for your baby's needs.

BPA-Free Materials
Philips Avent baby bottles and nipples are made from BPA-free silicone, ensuring a safe feeding experience for your baby.

Choosing the Right Nipple
Finding the right nipple is important for a comfortable feeding experience. Like breastfeeding, babies may need time to adjust to the Natural Response nipple. Patience is key.
If your baby is struggling to feed, appears fussy, or takes longer than 20 minutes to consume 50 ml (1.7 oz) with the Natural Response nipple, consider trying a lower flow rate or the Philips Avent '0' Newborn Flow Nipple (Nipple 0). Conversely, if milk flows too quickly from your baby's mouth or they gulp excessively, a higher flow rate may be beneficial.
Each baby is unique and develops at their own pace. If you encounter persistent feeding difficulties, consult a healthcare professional.
