Please use the power supply that meets manufacturer's power requirement. Please unplug the power supply when the device is turned off or during a thunderstorm. Please do not expose the device which has battery power to heat or let it overheat. If battery leakage occurs, please do not touch the liquid with your skin or eye. If you do come in contact, please see a doctor. The battery included with the device may cause fire or chemical burns if handled improperly. 1 Location To avoid deformation, discoloration, or other serious damage, do not expose this unit to the following conditions: Direct sunlight or other heat sources Magnetic fields Excessively dusty or dirty locations Strong vibrations or shocks High humidity or moisture Cleaning Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Guitar Headphone Power supply / mobile phone or tablet Amplifier / audio interface 6 · Power On/Off and battery management Power On/Off: Toggle the power switch to On/Off to power the device On/Off. Battery management: When the device is ON, the battery indicator illuminates. When the battery is about to run out, the battery indicator will blink in RED. Please charge the device via the USB port. Charging: When the power supply is plugged in, the charging indicator will illuminate. When the charging is complete, the indicator will turn GREEN. · Output volume level adjustment Please use the MASTER control on the rear panel to adjust the master volume level. · Preset patch selection Display: The LCD screen shows the currently selected preset patch. Preset bank selection: Press footswitch A + B for Bank Down, and press footswitch C + D for Bank Up. Preset patch selection: Press footswitch A, B, C or D to select a preset patch. 7 · Drum machine/Looper Press footswitches B + C to switch between preset control mode and looper mode. (Preset mode / drum machine + looper mode) · Looper REC: Press footswitch A (the footswitch LED will blink slowly) to enter recording standby mode. The S1 will start recording when the first note is detected, the footswitch LED will start to blink quickly. The screen shows a recording loop. PLAY: When the looper is in REC/STOP status, press footswitch A to activate playback, and the footswitch LED will stop blinking. The screen shows the recording loop. DUB: In playback status, press footswitch A to start DUB (the footswitch LED will blink quickly), and the screen will show the recording loop. Press footswitch A to switch between playback and dub. Press footswitch A again to stop the dub. STOP: In REC/PLAY/DUB status, press footswitch B to stop. The footswitch LED will stop blinking, and the loop in the display screen will stop rolling. 8 DELETE: Press and hold footswitch B to delete the recorded track (the LED of footswitch A & B will be Off). The display will show "LD". · Drum machine Play/stop: Press footswitch D to start / stop the drum machine. TAP: Press footswitch C to enter TAP mode (the footswitch LED will blink, and the tempo of blinking syncs with the drum machine speed). Press footswitch C for more than 3 times to set the drum machine speed. The TAP mode will quit automatically after being idle for 3 seconds. Drum groove selection: Press and hold footswitch C for 2 seconds, footswitch C/D will start to blink. Press footswitch C or D to switch between drum grooves. The groove selection mode will quit automatically after being idle for 3 seconds, the footswitch LED will stop blinking. The display screen will show the number of the selected drum groove. 9 · Sync mode Syncing can be activated / deactivated in the mobile app. Sync Off: When the sync mode is Off, looper and drum machine will not be synchronized. The looper will start to record as soon as an input signal is detected, the drum machine will not start automatically. Sync On: When the sync mode is On, press footswitch A, and the drum machine will play a 4-beat count-in according in the selected tempo. The looper will then start to record and the drum machine starts playing automatically. When the looper stops recording, the drum machine will stop simultaneously. When the looper restarts, the drum machine will restart as well. Speed and groove settings need to be configured properly before recording starts, as those settings cannot be changed during recording. (During recording, the drum machine can be muted, but it cannot be stopped.) · Tuner In preset mode, press and hold any footswitch for 1 second to activate the tuner. 10 · Bluetooth Please open the Bluetooth menu of your mobile device, find S1 and confirm the connection. The S1 can then be used to play audio tracks from the mobile device via Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth indicator will illuminate. · USB-OTG Prime S1 supports direct USB recording using a mobile phone/tablet via OTG cable. Users can monitor the audio track via the OUTPUT or the headphone output jack.
