This manual provides instructions for the Goobay 49216 PowerBank, a portable solar charger.

Description, Function, and Intended Use
Your product is a mobile external battery, an on-the-go energy storage device designed to charge or operate portable USB devices powered by 5V DC. The PowerBank has a built-in lithium-polymer battery that can be charged via USB or, with sufficient sunshine, additionally or solely via the solar panel.

Connecting and Operating
Briefly pressing the function key displays the battery status via the LED status indicator.
Torch Function
- Press the function key once to activate the PowerBank.
- Press the function key twice to switch the flashlight function on or off.
- After switching on, press the function key once to select other functions.
Charging the PowerBank
The PowerBank is delivered partially charged.
- Fully charge the PowerBank before first use.
- Open the housing flap.
- Connect the Micro USB input of the PowerBank via the charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., a 230V USB charging adapter, a 12/24V car USB charger, or a PC's USB port).
- Remove all cable connections after charging.
- Close the housing flap.
Charging Your Mobile Device
- Open the housing flap.
- Connect your mobile device to the USB-A output.
- Press the function button once to start and stop the charging process.
Charging and Discharging Status of the PowerBank
If no LED lights up despite pressing the function key, the PowerBank is completely depleted. The charging status flashes blue during the charging process. If there is sufficient sunshine, the solar panel supports charging, indicated by the green LED lighting up.

Maintenance, Care, Storage, and Transport
- Maintenance and repair work should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Use only a dry and soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use detergents or chemicals.
- Store in a cool and dry place.
- If not used for an extended period, charge every 3 months to maintain capacity.
- Do NOT store or transport together with jewelry and small metal parts.
