Product Overview
MikroTik proudly presents the Wireless Wire nRAY, a successor to the popular Wireless Wire Dish. This device is a plug-and-play 60 GHz point-to-point link solution, featuring a kit of two pre-paired units that establish a secure AES encrypted wireless connection. It is designed to cover distances of up to 1500 meters, achieving fiber-like speeds. Significant structural improvements and the latest antenna technologies make this device exceptionally compact yet more durable than its predecessors.
The nRAY's form-factor is optimized for snowy environments, preventing snow accumulation that could interfere with the signal. Its size and shape also make it less conspicuous. Fine-tune adjustment screws allow for precise alignment.
The 60 GHz frequency band offers an advantage by operating outside crowded wireless spectrums, ensuring a smooth connection even in busy urban areas. A powerful ARM64 dual-core CPU running at 1 GHz provides wire-speed throughput across various packet sizes. The included units are preconfigured for automatic connection; simply point them at each other and apply power.
The package includes power supplies, PoE injectors, and the solidMOUNT – an advanced pole mount metal adapter that facilitates easy alignment with both vertical and horizontal adjustments. For enhanced precision and easier installation, the nRayAIM-DH1 attachment is available separately, allowing the addition of a scope.
The Wireless Wire nRAY can also be used with MikroTik's WAP or WAP x3 devices for shorter distances, up to 800 meters.
