Pairing LED Light with "Smart Life" OR "Smart Life-Smart Living" App
Step 1: Get the App and the Account
Download the "Smart Life" OR "Smart Life-Smart Living" App:
- Scan the QR code to find the corresponding icon and click to obtain it.
- Search for "Smart Life" OR "Smart Life-Smart Living" in the App Store or Google Play.
Register an account and log in. If you already have an account, select "Log in with existing account".
Note: You will need your "Smart Life" OR "Smart Life-Smart Living" App username and password to pair with Amazon Alexa and/or Google Assistant.
Step 2: Connect LED Lights to the App
Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on before connecting.
Step 3: Pair the LED Light
Set the light to the pending pairing state by turning it on and off 3 times until it starts flashing.
Method 1:
- Tap the "+" button on the top right corner and tap "Add Device".
- The app will automatically search for the device. Tap "Add" after discovering it.
- Enter Wi-Fi password to join your network. Note: This smart LED Light only supports 2.4 GHz networks. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and that your network is not hidden.
- Wait for the device to register (about 30-60 seconds).
- Tap "Done" to complete the light pairing. You can tap the device name to change it.
Method 2:
- Tap the "+" button on the top right corner and tap "Add Device".
- Tap "Lighting" and then "Light Source" to enter the next page.
- Tap the "Next" button to pair the LED Light.
- Enter Wi-Fi password to join your network. Note: This smart LED Light only supports 2.4 GHz networks. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and that your network is not hidden.
- Wait for the device to register (about 30-60 seconds).
- Tap "Done" to complete the light pairing.
How to Operate the App
- Color Temperature and Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the color temperature and brightness.
- Delay Setting: Set a delay for the light to turn off.
- Schedule: Set specific times for the light to turn on or off.
- Motion Sensing Settings:
- Sensing Distance: Set to Low (13-26ft), Middle (26-49ft), or High (49-72ft).
- Full Light Duration: Set from 5s to 60mins.
- Dusk-to-Dawn Settings: Configure the light to turn on at dusk and off at dawn.
- Slight Bright Mode: Choose the slight bright mode and its brightness. Microlight duration can be set from 1min to 8hrs, or be set to always on.
- Intelligent Linkage: Set up automated actions based on motion detection or schedules. This includes recording motion detection times and creating scenes with specific tasks.
- Induction Recording: Record the time when motion is detected.
How to Connect with Alexa and Google Assistant App
Tap "Me", find the third-party voice device you want to connect to, and tap it. Follow the on-screen steps to connect.
Operation Instructions
Detection Range: 180°
Note:
- The PIR sensor shall always be tilted slightly downward.
- The orientation angle of the sensor shall be between 5-45°.
Recommended Installation Height: 6.5-13.1 feet (2-4 meters) above the ground.
Detection Coverage:
- When mounted 8ft above the ground and the sensor is tilted 5° down, the maximum sensing distance is about 72ft.
- When mounted 8ft above the ground and the sensor is tilted 45° down, the minimum sensing distance is about 19ft.
Note: The detection distance is most accurate at 25°C. Temperature fluctuations will affect it. The light stays on as long as motion is detected within its range. Sensitivity is higher when approaching from the side.
Preparation
Note: Ensure all parts are present before assembly. Compare with the parts list. Do not assemble if parts are missing or damaged.
Estimated Assembly Time: 30-60 minutes.
Tools Required (not included): Flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, Pliers, Silicone Sealant, Eye Protection, Step Ladder.
WARNING:
- This product must be installed in accordance with applicable installation codes by a qualified person familiar with the product and its hazards.
- CAUTION: Ensure your wall switch and main circuit breaker are OFF before installation. Consult a licensed electrician if unsure about electrical installation.
RISK OF SHOCK: Turn off electricity at the circuit breaker or main fuse box before installation.
NOTE: Use wire nuts/connectors rated for the correct gauge and number of wires. Ensure no exposed wire bundles. Be careful not to damage wire insulation. Do not let wires touch sharp edges.
WARNING: Do not connect this light fixture to an ungrounded electrical system. Attach the ground fixture wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate or the ground wire in the outlet box. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
Installation Steps
Note: For wet locations, ensure the EVA gasket and mounting surface are sealed with sealing compound or silicone glue.
Connect the wires: White (Neutral) to White (Neutral), Black (Live) to Black (Live), and Green (Ground) to Green (Ground).
Note: The raised part (RA) of the metal plate must engage with the recessed part (RE) of the base for proper installation.
Troubleshooting
