Version 1.2 Supplementary Manual
This supplementary manual provides detailed information on new functions and features added to the ZOOM H4essential Handy Recorder in versions 1.2 and 1.1. It is intended to be used alongside the main product manual and safety precautions.

New Functions
Functions Added in Version 1.2
Pause Recording Function
A new function has been implemented that allows recording to be paused. This feature helps conserve microSD card capacity by avoiding the recording of unwanted intervals.
1. Pausing Recording: During an active recording session, press the [pause-button]. This action will pause the recording.

To resume recording, press the [pause-button] again.
NOTE: When recording is resumed, an automatic mark will be placed at that specific point.
Functions Added in Version 1.1
Guide Sound On/Off Shortcut
This enhancement allows the guide sound to be toggled on or off at any time, adapting to various usage scenarios.
1. Toggling Guide Sound: When the HOME screen is displayed, press and hold the [ENTER button].

This action will turn the guide sound on or off. A visual notification will appear on the screen, and the change will also be announced audibly with the guide sound.
