OIL FREE AIR COMPRESSOR Manual

1. Introduction

1.1 Working Principle, Performance Characteristics and Uses

The oil-free air compressor operates using a single-phase motor that drives a crankshaft, which in turn drives a piston reciprocally within a cylinder. This process compresses air. The exhaust valve opens and closes automatically. When the compressed air pressure reaches the rated discharge pressure of 0.7MPa, a switch automatically shuts down the compressor by closing a one-way valve into the gas tank. When the pressure drops to a certain level, the switch automatically opens. As the compressor is sealed, noise is reduced during operation.

The series of air compressors are characterized by low noise and fuel consumption, minimal vibration, low power consumption, stable performance, safety, and reliability. They are suitable for various applications including laboratories, tire inflation, pharmaceutical processes, food processing, airbrush painting, chemical analysis, sewing machines, shoe machines, dry cleaners, and as a gas supply for instrumentation, printing machinery, and other equipment requiring small air consumption, electrical, or plumbing maintenance. For applications requiring relatively clean compressed air, it is recommended to use the AW2000 regulator or a filter.

5. Maintenance

Special Note: All maintenance procedures must be performed after disconnecting the power and discharging compressed air to prevent potential harm.

6. Marks and Implications

The following symbols indicate important operational information:

Other implications include: High-temperature Risk, Shut Down Power, Open Power.

7. Troubleshooting

This table outlines common issues, their potential causes, and recommended approaches:

Trouble Phenomenon Reason Approach
The machine can not work 1. It is not electrified 1. Check the plug, switch, and fuse.
2. Fuse broken 2. Replace fuse.
3. The switch is cut off 3. Press the switch and check.
4. Overload protector is in state of protection 4. Restart the machine after the motor is cool (waiting for 15 minutes).
5. The switch is damaged or wire is broken off 5. Connecting with the reliable service center.
There is the sound of electric current, but the machine can not work or run in very slow speed 1. Voltage is too low 1. Check the voltage, no lower than 200V.
2. Motor is short circuit or open circuit 2. Connecting with the reliable service center.
Fuse and circuit breaker is broken repeatedly. Note: do not make the wire too long. 1. The fuse is not proper, or current overloaded 1. Check and replace with the proper fuse. Please do not connect to the other electrical equipment, and use a separate circuit.
2. Switch of one-way valve or air pressure is damaged 2. Connecting with the reliable service center.
Overload protector cut off the electricity repeatedly 1. Voltage is too low 1. Check the voltage, no lower than 200V.
2. Ventilation is poor, temperature is high 2. Put the air compressor in a well-ventilated place.
The pressure drops when turning off the compressor 1. Connecting is loose, leakage 1. Check and use seal gasket on the leakage place.
2. Drainage Valve is open 2. Tightening the drainage valve.
3. One-way valve is leakage 3. Removing and inspecting the one-way valve.
The gas discharged contains a large number of water 1. There is a lot of water in the gas tank 1. Discharge the water in the gas tank.
2. Temperature or humidity is too high 2. Move the air compressor to a low temperature place, or use oil-water separator.
The air compressor keep running 1. The pressure switch is damaged 1. Replace the pressure switch.
2. There is leakage 2. Check and Solve.
3. There is dirty on the one-way valve 3. Clean the dirty valve.
The air Compressor is vibrating 1. Fixed bolts loose. 1. Fix the bolts.
2. Rubber gasket is lost or damaged 2. Replace the gasket.
Output pressure lower than normal 1. Drainage Valve is open 1. Tightening the drainage valve.
2. Inlet air filter is plugging 2. Cleaning or replacing the filter.
3. Connection of gas is leak 3. Fastening the bolts to connect the gas.
4. Cylinder head gasket or valve gaslet is damaged. 4. Replace of gasket.
5. The piston or cylinder is worn out 5. Replace the piston or cylinder.
