Wi-Fi Camera Quick Manual

FCC Compliance Information

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Information to User

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Important: Change or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

Quick Operation Guide

Step 1: Download and install the App

Tips one: Scan the QR code below to download the "iCSee" App. [QR Code for App Download]

Tips two: Search "iCSee" in the App store and download.

Step 2: Turn on the power

Power on the camera. The device will send voice prompts such as "system starting up, wait for configuration, wait for connection, please configure the network according to the instructions" after several seconds. If the camera does not provide a prompt sound for a long time, press and hold the camera Reset button until you hear the prompt "Restore factory settings," then release it to restore the camera to factory settings and configure the network. Do not power off during this process.

Note: If local storage is needed, install the memory card first, then power on the device. The memory card does not support hot swapping; please plug and unplug the memory card when the device is powered off. Cloud storage is recommended for safety and convenience. Details are in "Step 4" for operation.

Step 3: Configure the network of the camera

Bluetooth network configuration

Note: If the device supports Bluetooth network configuration, please configure it as follows.

  1. Connect your phone to a WiFi network ? and turn on Bluetooth ?.
  2. Open the iCSee app, register an account, and log in. (See Figure 1: Login Screen)

The screen displays fields for "Username" (or Email) and "Password", with options for "Forget Password?" and "Visitor Login", and a "Login" button. It also shows "Sign Up" at the top right.

  1. After successful login, click the "+" button in the top right corner of the screen. (See Figure 2: Main Interface)
  2. Click on the main interface to search for found devices. (See Figure 3: Add Device Screen) If the camera is not searched, turn the phone's Bluetooth off for 5 seconds, then turn it back on, and search again, or long-press the camera's Reset button to reset the search.

Below this are options to "Add device manually" and various device types: "WiFi Camera", "4G Camera", "VIOT Station", "DVR/NVR", and "Get Shared". There is also a link "Other ways to pair and add device".

  1. Enter the wireless router password and click "Confirm". (See Figure 4: Router Setting)
  2. Wait for the camera network configuration. When the camera emits the voice message "connecting, please wait, connect router successfully", the network configuration is successful. (See Figure 5: Searching Device)

The screen displays "Router Setting". It shows a WiFi network name (e.g., "qwe") with a password field (represented by dots). It indicates options for "2.4GHz" and "5GHz" with a checkmark ✔️ and cross ❌ respectively. A note advises to "Select a Wi-Fi with stable and strong signal, fill in the correct Wi-Fi password." A "Confirm" button is at the bottom, with a "Failed to connect to WiFi?" link.

The screen displays "Searching Device" with a circular animation indicating "Initializing device configuration". Text below reads: "Connecting, Please Wait", followed by numbered steps: "1. Connected the Bluetooth device successfully.", "2. Sending the pair information to the device.", "3. Device got the pair information."

  1. After successful network configuration, set the camera name. (See Figure 6: Set a Camera Name)
  2. Follow the APP interface to guide you through the setup. After configuration is completed, the device is displayed in the device list interface. Click to open the real-time preview screen and carry out relevant operations and settings. (See Figure 7: Device Preview Screen)

The screen shows "Set a Camera Name". It has a text field "Name your device" and several predefined room/location options like "Living Room", "Bedroom", "Guest Room", "Study", "Doorway", "Corridor", "Garage", "Balcony". The current device name "device1" is shown with a close icon ❌. A "Save" button is at the bottom.

Wi-Fi network configuration

Note: If the device does not support Bluetooth network configuration or Bluetooth network configuration fails, please configure it as follows.

  1. Connect your phone to a WiFi network ?.
  2. Log in to the iCSee App, click "+" to add devices (See Figure 8: Smart Device Screen), and select "WiFi Camera" (See Figure 9: Add Device Screen).
  3. Set network configuration according to the camera's voice prompts and the APP interface step-by-step guide. When the camera emits a "Connect router successfully" prompt, it means that the camera has successfully configured the network.

Similar to Figure 2, this screen shows "Smart Device" at the top with an exclamation mark icon and a "+" icon. A central "+" button is labeled "Click '+' button to add device". Bottom tabs are "Device", "Mobile Storage", "Me".

  1. After successful network configuration, follow the instructions on the APP interface to set the camera password and name.
  2. After the configuration is completed, the device is displayed in the device list interface. Click to open the real-time preview screen, and carry out relevant operations and settings. (See Figure 10: Device Preview Screen)

This screen is identical to Figure 7, showing the "Smart Device" interface with a live camera preview, device name "device1", "Online" status, and options for "Share", "Events", "Smart Alarm", "Settings", and bottom navigation tabs.

Step 4: Cloud Storage

To access cloud storage, click the "Cloud" ☁️ icon in the device list interface (See Figure 11: Device List with Cloud Icon). Follow the app's guidance to understand and open a cloud storage package; various packages are available.

This screen is similar to Figures 7 and 10, showing the "Smart Device" interface with a live camera preview. The "Cloud" icon in the bottom navigation bar is highlighted, indicating it's the selected option.
