Make One RP102 WiFi Repeater Installation Guide
Please read this manual carefully before using it.
Installation Instructions
- Plug the repeater into a socket near the router. The indicator light will turn red. Wait for 40 seconds for the repeater to be fully activated.
- On your phone, search for and connect to the WiFi signal "repeater-XXXX". "XXXX" represents the last 4 bits of the MAC address found on the repeater label.
- Open your web browser and navigate to "192.168.253.253". Log in to the administration page using the default password "admin".
Tips:
- Place the repeater in a spacious and unobstructed location.
- Keep the repeater away from devices that can interfere with WiFi signals, such as microwave ovens and Bluetooth devices.
Note: Click the red "EN/Chinese" button in the upper right corner to switch the web language.
Setup Process
Step 1: Select whether to check "Use the SSID and password of the primary route", then click "NEXT".
Note: Selecting "Use the SSID and password of the primary route" creates a single WiFi network with the same name and password as your primary router, allowing devices to connect to one signal for seamless extension. If this option is not selected, you will be prompted to configure a new WiFi name and password for the repeater.
Step 2: The repeater will scan for surrounding WiFi signals. Select the WiFi signal you wish to extend and click "Join Network". If the desired signal is not visible, click "Repeat scan".
Step 3: Enter the password for the extended WiFi signal and click "Submit". If there is no password, simply click "Submit". The extension is successful when the indicator light turns green or yellow.
For optimal signal extension, adjust the repeater's position until the indicator light is green. Once setup is complete, the repeater can be moved to a different socket without needing to be reset.
Wait approximately 40 seconds for the extension process to complete. Ensure the indicator light is green; if not, reposition the repeater for better signal reception.

Troubleshooting
Reset Repeater
To reset the repeater, press and hold the 'RESET' button on the bottom of the device for approximately 8 seconds. Release the button to initiate the reset.
Cannot Search for the Signal of the Repeater After Repeating
By default, the repeater uses the same WiFi signal name as the master router. If you have changed the repeater's WiFi name to be different from the master router's, ensure it is searchable. If not, try resetting the repeater.
Extension Failed. The Indicator Shows Red (Purple)
This usually indicates a password input error during setup. If the master router's WiFi name or password has changed after a successful extension, you may need to reset the repeater.
