The Rocker Switch Assembly is for use with Dometic Americana refrigerators with ventilation fans. Its purpose is to allow the fan to be turned off if the refrigerator experiences a thermal cut-off issue while operating in transit. NOTICE: The rocker switch should remain in the on position while the vehicle is stationary for optimal cooling performance. Failure to follow warning this could result in a failed cooling unit and/or void the warranty. The rocker switch should be installed in an accessible area. (15 mm) t 1.1 in (28 mm) 1. Disconnect the refrigerator from all power sources (120 VAC and 12 VDC). 2. Using the switch panel as a template, cut a rectangular opening in the refrigerator enclosure at the bottom vent area. 3. Insert the rocker switch into the opening of the switch panel and push towards the switch panel until it snaps in place. Attach the red wire to either terminal of the rocker switch. 5. Attach the red wire with the fuse holder to the remaining terminal of the rocker switch. 6. Use the screws to secure the switch panel to the mounting location. 7. Route both wires to the bottom rear of the refrigerator. Remove the fuse from the fuse holder and set aside. 8. Connect the rocker switch wiring according to the wiring diagram. 9. Verify that all the wiring connections are secure and that the wiring will not contact sharp edges or hot surfaces. IKeep the wiring diagram from the service kit with the wiring diagram for the refrigerator. 10. Install the fuse in the fuse holder. 11. Reconnect the power supply. 2 EN
