All of these are important safety points, so please adhere to them.
Warnings
[Warning Symbol] Do not use with voltages other than AC 100-240V. This may cause fire or electric shock.
[Warning Symbol] Do not damage, bend, twist, or pull the power cord. Do not place it near hot objects, place heavy objects on it, pinch it, or modify it. A damaged power cord can cause fire or electric shock.
[Warning Symbol] Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if the outlet is loose. This can cause electric shock or short circuits, leading to fire.
[Warning Symbol] Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Immediately switch off the shaver, remove the power plug or batteries, and request inspection or repair from a Braun Service Center.

Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, should only use this product under supervision or instruction to ensure safe use and understanding of the inherent hazards.
If a hair clipping attachment is included, children aged 3 and above can use it for hair clipping under supervision.
Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
Cautions

[Caution Symbol] Do not place the appliance in locations exceeding 50°C for extended periods. The recommended ambient temperature for charging is 5°C to 35°C. The recommended ambient temperature for storage and shaving is 15°C to 35°C.

[Caution Symbol] Before use, check the blades for any damage or deformation. Damaged blades can injure your skin.

Product Functions
Charging
Diagrams show the charging process:
1. The shaver can be charged directly with the power cord, or via the charging stand or alcohol cleaning system.
2. Full charge takes approximately 1 hour.
The display shows the charging status from 0% to 100%.
Shaver Display Indicators
Gauge Display: Indicates the remaining battery charge in 5 levels. Each bar represents approximately 20% of the charge.
Low Battery Warning: When the remaining shaving time drops below 10 minutes, the remaining minutes will be displayed numerically.
A charging warning symbol will appear when the battery charge is critically low.
Charging Warning Symbol
The charging warning symbol indicates that the battery charge is low or that the plug is connected.
- A. Low Charge Warning: Indicates low battery. Please charge before use. Full charge takes approximately 1 hour.
- B. Safety Note: For safety reasons, this shaver cannot be used while connected to the power cord. Always unplug the power cord before shaving.
How to Use
Shaving
Ensure the power cord is unplugged from the shaver and the outlet before use. The shaver cannot be operated while connected to power.
- Press the power switch (4) to start shaving.
- Hold the shaver perpendicular to the skin and shave.
- The shaver head flexes and adjusts to the contours of your face.
Multi Head Lock
- Slide the Multi Head Lock Switch (3) downwards to lock the shaver head. This allows for more precise shaving.
- The shaver head can be fixed at 5 different angles. To change the angle, move the shaver head forward or backward with your thumb and index finger. It will automatically lock into the next angle.
- The Multi Head Lock is useful for shaving difficult areas, such as under the nose.
Trimmer
- The trimmer (6) is useful for shaping sideburns and beards. Press the Trimmer Release Button (8) to pop up the trimmer (6).
Travel Lock
The travel lock prevents the shaver from accidentally turning on, for example, when packed in a suitcase.
- To Activate Travel Lock (ON): Press and hold the power switch (4) for approximately 3 seconds until a beep sounds. The shaver will lock, and the travel lock indicator will be displayed.
- To Deactivate Travel Lock (OFF): Press and hold the power switch (4) for approximately 3 seconds. The lock will be released, and the travel lock indicator will disappear.
Foil Replacement
The foil replacement indicator will alert you when it's time to replace the foil and cutter cassette (Part No. F/C 83M).
- Remove the old foil and cutter cassette and replace it with a new one (F/C 83M).
- After replacing the foil, press and hold the power switch for approximately 9 seconds to reset the foil replacement indicator until it turns off.
Cleaning Reminder
The cleaning reminder indicator on the shaver display prompts you to clean the shaver using the alcohol cleaning system. For instructions on using the alcohol cleaning system, please refer to the separate Alcohol Cleaning System instruction manual.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Wet Cleaning
Note: After shaving with foam or gel, always clean the shaver with lukewarm water. Ensure all cleaning agents are thoroughly rinsed off.
- When cleaning, always unplug the power cord from the outlet.
- Use lukewarm water and a mild, non-abrasive liquid soap.
- Turn the shaver ON and let it run.
- Rinse the shaver head under running water.
- Rinse until all soap residue is removed.
- Run the shaver for a few seconds to shake off excess water.
- Press the foil and cutter cassette release button (2) to remove the cassette.
- Ensure the cassette is completely dry before reattaching it to the shaver.
- Apply a drop of oil to the blades (lubricating oil is not included).
Dry Cleaning
- Press the foil and cutter cassette release button (2) to remove the cassette.
- Gently tap the cassette on a flat surface to remove hair debris.
- Clean the shaver head area with the provided brush.
- Avoid cleaning the blades directly with the brush.
Battery and Service
Built-in Battery
The built-in rechargeable battery can only be replaced by an authorized Braun Service Center. If you suspect a battery issue, please contact the Braun Service Center.

Battery Disposal
[Warning Symbol] Do not disassemble the product except for disposal. This can cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- This product uses a Lithium-ion battery.
- Lithium-ion batteries are valuable resources that can be recycled.
- When disposing of the product, unplug the power cord, and run the shaver until it completely stops to discharge the battery. Then, remove the rechargeable battery according to the instructions in this manual.
- When handling removed batteries, take care not to short-circuit the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. Take them to a collection point for small rechargeable battery recycling.

[Warning Symbol] Always use up the battery charge in the shaver body before disposal. Do not disassemble the product except for disposal. If the battery still has a charge, the terminals could short-circuit, leading to ignition or fire.
Battery Removal Procedure
When removing the Lithium-ion battery, wear gloves and protective eyewear to protect your skin from potential battery leakage.
- Remove the bottom cap using a Torx screwdriver.
- Push the trimmer upwards.
- Loosen and remove the anti-slip grip on the shaver using a screwdriver.
- Loosen and remove the rear cover of the shaver.
- Loosen and remove the front cover of the shaver using a screwdriver.
- Remove the four screws on the sides using a Torx screwdriver and remove the switch cover.
- Remove the electronic circuit board.
- Remove the rechargeable battery using a screwdriver.
Tape the terminals of the removed battery to insulate them, and take it to a collection point for small rechargeable battery recycling.
Caution: Opening the product's handle may cause malfunction and will void the warranty.
Warranty and After-Sales Service
Warranty
The warranty card is included at the end of this manual. Please ensure it is filled out with the retailer's name and purchase date. Read the warranty terms carefully and keep it for future reference.
The manufacturer's warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Consumables and accessories are not covered by the warranty (covered parts are listed on the warranty card).
Requesting Repairs
If you experience any abnormality or malfunction during use, stop using the product immediately and request inspection or repair from a Braun Repair Center or your retailer.
During the warranty period, please present the warranty card with the retailer's name and purchase date filled in when requesting service.
If you have moved, please consult your retailer or a Braun Repair Center in advance.
If you cannot request repairs from the retailer where you purchased the product (e.g., for a gift), please consult a Braun Repair Center.
Repair Costs
Repairs may be charged even within the warranty period in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by incorrect use or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by moving, transporting, dropping, or other accidents after purchase.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, other natural disasters, abnormal voltage, or use with unspecified power sources (voltage/frequency).
- Malfunctions or damage caused by use in non-household environments (e.g., commercial use for extended periods).
- Failure to present the warranty card.
- Cases where the warranty card does not have the purchase date, customer name, or retailer name filled in, or if the information has been altered.
- Wear and tear of consumables or damage.
- Repairs performed at stores not authorized by Braun.
The warranty card will not be reissued, so please keep it in a safe place.
Spare Parts Availability
Spare parts for this product are kept for 6 years after the product's discontinuation. Spare parts are defined as components necessary to maintain the product's functionality.
Rechargeable Battery
If the usage time significantly decreases even after charging according to the instructions, the battery may have reached the end of its lifespan. Please consult your retailer or a Braun Service Center. Battery replacement due to lifespan is a paid service. Do not remove the battery except for disposal.

- The shaver sometimes fails to start when the switch is turned on.
