Introduction
The stationary massage tables HABYS Fortis are designed to enable physiotherapists to conduct rehabilitation treatments, physiotherapy, physical therapy, and massage correctly, safely, and effectively. They aim to treat or alleviate the course of illnesses and the results of injuries or impairments. The construction of the Fortis tables allows for easy and complete patient access from all sides. These tables are also suitable for masseurs performing non-medical massages such as sports, beauty, and relaxation.

Installation
1. Unfolding
- Unfold the table.
- Check for any damage incurred during transportation. If damaged, do not install and inform the seller immediately.
- Ensure all accessories are complete. Notify the seller of any discrepancies upon delivery.
- Tables with electric control should be stored and used in normal, dry conditions in closed rooms with temperatures between +10°C and +40°C and relative humidity between 30% and 75%.
- If an electric table has been exposed to temperatures below 0°C during storage, precondition it in a room at the recommended temperature for at least 5 hours before connecting it to the electricity network.
2. Connection to the Power Supply
Before plugging into the power socket, ensure:
- The socket is properly grounded and complies with regulations.
- The socket can sustain the maximum power output specified in the Technical Data.
- The mains voltage matches the data in the Technical Data.
- The plug fits the socket; otherwise, the socket must be replaced.
Important Safety Notes for Installation:
- Do not install devices outdoors.
- Electric actuators may operate for a maximum of 2 minutes. Restart is possible after an 18-minute rest period.
- Ensure the power socket is easily accessible after installation.
- Do not use extension cords.
- Do not bend the cable.
- The power supply cable replacement must be performed by an authorized specialist.
- Do not attempt independent repairs on electric actuators.
- Avoid direct sunlight, UV radiation, rain, excessive dust, and moisture.
Attention! The manufacturer is not responsible for damages resulting from failure to follow these rules.
Operation
1. Electric Height Adjustment (Hand-Operated Remote Control)
Raising and lowering the table is controlled via a hand-operated remote. Control is achieved by pressing the buttons marked with arrows ⬆️⬇️.
2. Height Adjustment (Walk-Free Foot Controller)
Raising and lowering the table is controlled using the walk-free foot controller. Control is achieved by moving the foot controller vertically (up or down) with your foot.
3. Headrest Adjustment (Gas Spring)
The headrest is adjusted using a gas spring. After releasing the lever, the headrest can be positioned as desired.
4. Armrest Adjustment
To lower the armrest: Unscrew the knob counterclockwise, adjust the height to the desired position, then tighten the knob clockwise. To raise the armrest, follow the same procedure in reverse.
5. Table Top Adjustment
In selected models, besides adjusting the total height, the tabletop angle can be adjusted from 0-25° using buttons marked with up/down arrows ⬆️⬇️. The rear section of the seat is adjusted using a Rastomat mechanism; lift the segment to the selected position, and it will lock automatically.
Warning: Sitting on armrests and headrests is forbidden.
6. Chassis (Wheeled Base)
The driving system is activated by lifting the table using the foot lever. Pressing the lever down allows the table, supported on wheels, to be moved. To lock the table in position, lower it onto its feet by lifting the lever to the upper position.
7. Safety Switch
The table features a safety switch on the remote control. Pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds blocks the table's raising and lowering functions. To unlock, press and hold the button again for 3 seconds.
Recommendations and Safety Rules
- Operate the table according to the instruction manual.
- Damages due to non-compliance are not grounds for complaint.
- The device is not intended for use by individuals with limited physical or mental abilities, or those lacking experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
- The table is for adult use only, in accordance with the manual.
- Intended for dry, closed rooms for single-person treatment at a time.
- Do not move the table with a patient on it.
- Sudden sitting or jumping on the table is forbidden.
- Sitting, kneeling, or leaning on the headrest, shelves, or armrests is forbidden.
- If the patient is unclothed, use disposable covers or disinfect the table.
- Avoid prolonged contact of upholstery with oils; use oil-resistant covers or waterproof sheets.
- Keep the table away from direct fire and heat sources.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, which may cause upholstery discoloration.
- After moving from a cold room, wait 15 minutes before connecting to power.
- Perform a full height adjustment (minimum to maximum) weekly to ensure even lubricant distribution in the motor, promoting proper maintenance and extending motor life. Repeat 2-4 times weekly.
- Do not remove the plug by pulling the cable.
- Do not disassemble the device or attempt to access its interior.
- No contraindications exist for product use if the above recommendations are followed.
Disinfection, Maintenance, and Cleaning
For steel and lacquered elements, use non-abrasive cleaning products. Disinfect as needed and occasionally.

Warranty Conditions
The manufacturer, HABYS Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, provides a warranty for its equipment.
- Warranty Period: 2 years for structural elements, 2 years for upholstered elements, and 2 years for electronic and hydraulic accessories.
- The guarantee does not cover user-performed maintenance or installation tasks.
- Liability covers defects inherent to the equipment, excluding damage from improper use, storage, maintenance, transport, chemical/abrasive agents, pollution, accidental damage, stains from oils/fats, or permanent dyes.
- Mechanical damage is not covered.
- Warranty is void if the equipment is repaired by unauthorized service, modified without consent, used contrary to its purpose, or used after a defect is revealed.
- The manufacturer is not liable for property damage or third-party damages caused by equipment use.
- Exercising warranty rights does not affect seller's liability for defects.
- Warranty scope is limited to the country of sale.
- Manufacturer will perform guarantee repairs free of charge within 14 days of delivery to service. Delays will be communicated.
- To claim warranty, present proof of purchase, photographic documentation of the defect, report the defect within 14 days, and deliver the equipment in original packaging.
- The warranty period is extended by the duration of the repair.
- The manufacturer may replace defective equipment if repair costs exceed the purchase price.
- Manufacturer is not liable for transport damage until received from the carrier.
- Buyers must inspect shipments for damage and report it within 3 days.
- These warranty regulations are the sole and exclusive terms for HABYS products.
