Buttons and Connectors
Front Panel
Power Button: Turns the device on/off. Press and select OK on the LCD to turn off.
USB 2.0: USB Type A port for firmware updates, project files, EDID files, BKG files, LOGO files, and logs.
Source Buttons: Access input settings or select sources. Can be used for number input.
Layer Buttons: Open the layer settings menu. Press and hold to close the layer. Can be used for number input.
LCD Screen: 5-inch graphical LCD for menus and messages.
Knob: Rotate to scroll menus, press to select items. Press and hold Knob + BACK for 3s to lock/unlock front panel buttons.
BACK: Return to the previous menu or cancel operations.
Function Buttons:
- PRESET: Access preset settings menu.
- SCALE: Enable/disable full-screen scaling for the layer at the back of the Z-order.
- FN: Custom shortcut button.
- TAKE: Switch content from PVW to PGM with a specified transition effect.
Rear Panel
- INPUT 1 to 4: Each includes 1x DP 1.2/HDMI 2.0. Only one can be used if both have signals.
- INPUT 5 to 6: Each includes 1x 12G-SDI IN & LOOP.
- OPT (1-4): Optical fiber ports copying HDMI 2.0 outputs. OPT 1 & 2 copy HDMI 1; OPT 3 & 4 copy HDMI 5.
- AUDIO: 3.5 mm audio jacks (2x line in, 2x line out). Audio function available after Q3 2023.
- OUTPUT (SL): 8x video output connectors. In switcher mode, 1-4 are primary 2K outputs, 5-8 copy 1-4. In PGM only mode, all 8 are primary 2K outputs.
- OUTPUT (4K): In switcher mode, connector 1 is primary 4K output, connector 5 copies connector 1. In splicer mode, connectors 1 and 5 are primary 4K outputs.
- MVR: Connects to Multiviewer screen (1920x1080@60Hz fixed).
- AUX: Connects to auxiliary devices like teleprompters (1920x1080@60Hz fixed).
- ETHERNET: Gigabit Ethernet ports for control and input view.
- GENLOCK: Genlock signal input and loop output.
- Power: AC power connector and rocker switch.
Applications
Switcher Mode
Example uses 4K output. One output is primary, one is backup. Can work with U5 or U5 Pro event controller.
Setup:
- LED Screen (4Kx2K@60Hz): 2x VX1000
- LCD Screen (4Kx2K@60Hz): 2x OPT (Copying Output)
- Primary Output: 1x HDMI 2.0
- Inputs: 4x HDMI 2.0/DP1.2, 2x 12G-SDI
- Control: U5, Ethernet Cable to Router, PixelFlow Control PC
- Outputs: Multiviewer (2x HDMI 1.3), AUX1/AUX2 (1x HDMI 1.3)
PGM Only Mode
Example uses 4K output. Two output connectors are primary. Output capacity up to 8Kx2K@60Hz. Can work with U5 or U5 Pro event controller.
Setup:
- LED Screen (8Kx2K@60Hz): 4x VX1000
- LCD Screen (8Kx2K@60Hz): 4x OPT (Copying Output)
- Primary Outputs: 2x HDMI 2.0
- Inputs: 4x HDMI 2.0/DP1.2, 2x 12G-SDI
- Control: U5, Ethernet Cable to Router, PixelFlow Control PC
- Outputs: Multiviewer (2x HDMI 1.3), AUX1/AUX2 (1x HDMI 1.3)

P10+U5+PixelFlow Operations
Change Working Mode
The P10 can operate in switcher or PGM only mode.
- Select Device on the PixelFlow homepage.
- Set Working Mode to Switcher or PGM Only on the right side of the page.
Configure Screens
The P10 supports one common screen and two AUX screens. Users can set connector layout, add, and replace connectors for the common screen. AUX screen relationships with AUX outputs are fixed.
- Select Screen on the PixelFlow homepage. The common screen is selected by default.
- Tap a layout template or customize by specifying rows and columns.
- Drag an output to the canvas to configure the screen. Drag another output to change it.
- Set screen properties on the right side of the page.
Switch from PVW to PGM
Transition Effects:
- Swap: Swaps PVW and PGM content after switching.
- Cut: Switches content with no transition effect.
- Take: Switches content with a specified transition effect and duration.
- T-Bar: Switches content with a specified transition effect, controllable via a virtual T-Bar.
Process:
- Select a preset (loaded to PVW in switcher mode, PGM only mode loads directly to PGM).
- Tap Cut, Take, or T-Bar (and drag the virtual T-Bar) to switch content from PVW to PGM.
Set Multiviewer
The P10 allows live monitoring of all inputs, PVW, and PGM screens. Users can select from provided Multiviewer layout templates; customization is not supported.
- Select Multiviewer on the PixelFlow homepage.
- Choose a layout template from the bottom of the page.
Add Layers
The PGM output supports up to 6 layers (2x 4K@60Hz and 4x 2K@60Hz, or 3x 4K@60Hz). Each AUX screen supports one layer that fills the screen and cannot be resized or repositioned; AUX screens can be used for teleprompters.
- Select Programming on the PixelFlow homepage.
- Tap a screen name or select Multiple select to choose screens.
- Add layers: Drag an input source to the common screen, or drag an input source or PGM to an AUX screen.
Switch Between Presets
Up to 128 presets can be saved, including screen and layer information, for quick loading.
- Select Presets on the PixelFlow homepage.
- Tap a preset from the list to load it.
