Warranty Policy

All cameras distributed through authorized reputable photographic distribution channels are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. Repairs will be provided and defective parts replaced free of charge during this period, provided that the camera shows no signs of impact, damage from sand or liquids, mishandling, fraudulent manipulation, battery corrosion or chemical corrosion, use contrary to the operating instructions, or modification by an unauthorized repair shop. The manufacturer or its authorized representatives are not liable except for repairs or modifications made with their written consent and are not liable for damages caused by delay or non-use or any other indirect damages of any kind, whether resulting from defects in materials, workmanship, or otherwise; and it is expressly agreed that the manufacturer's or its representatives' liability under all warranties, express or implied, is strictly limited to the replacement of parts as stipulated above. Expenses incurred for repairs at unauthorized service centers will not be reimbursed.

Procedure During the 12-Month Warranty Period

Any camera found to be defective during the 12-month warranty period should be returned to the distributor from whom it was purchased or to the manufacturer. If there are no manufacturer representatives in your country, send the camera to the manufacturer with prepaid shipping charges. In this case, it will take a considerable amount of time for the camera to be returned to you due to complicated customs procedures. If the camera is covered by warranty, repairs will be made and parts replaced free of charge, and the camera will be returned to you upon completion of repairs. If the camera is not covered by warranty, the standard rates of the manufacturer or its representatives will apply. Shipping costs are borne by the owner. If the camera was purchased outside the country where you wish it to be repaired during the warranty period, handling and repair fees of that country's manufacturer representatives may be imposed. However, the camera returned to the manufacturer will be repaired free of charge according to this procedure and warranty policy. In any case, however, shipping costs and customs duties are borne by the shipper. To prove the date of purchase, keep the receipt or invoice for the camera purchase for at least one year. Before sending the camera for repair, be sure to send it to the manufacturer's authorized representatives or their approved repair shops, unless you send it directly to the manufacturer. Always obtain a quote for repair costs and only after accepting the offer, instruct the service center to begin the repair.

Regulatory Compliance Statements

For U.S. Customers

FCC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Available scientific information does not indicate any health problem associated with the use of low-power wireless devices. However, there is no evidence that these low-power wireless devices are absolutely safe. Low-power wireless devices emit low levels of radio frequency (RF) energy in the microwave range during use. While high RF levels can affect health (by heating tissue), exposure to low RF levels that do not produce a heating effect does not cause any known adverse health effects. Many studies on low RF exposure have not detected any biological effects. Some studies have suggested that some biological effects may occur, but these findings have not been confirmed by further research. The R02010 has been tested and found to comply with FCC radiation exposure limits established for an uncontrolled environment and complies with FCC Radio Frequency (RF) exposure regulations.

For Canada Customers

Notice of Conformity with Regulations of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED)

This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian standard ICES-003 (B). This device complies with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Notice of Conformity with Regulations of Innovation, Sciences et

Développement économique Canada (ISDE)

This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian standard NMB-003 (B). This device complies with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, even if the interference is likely to compromise its operation.

The scientific knowledge available has not revealed any health problems associated with the use of low-power wireless devices. However, we cannot prove that these low-power wireless devices are entirely safe. Low-power wireless devices emit very low radio frequency (RF) energy in the microwave spectrum when used. While high RF doses can have health effects (by heating tissues), exposure to low RF levels that do not produce a heating effect has no known adverse health effects. Numerous studies have been conducted on low RF exposures and have found no biological effects. Some studies have suggested that certain biological effects may occur, but these results have not been confirmed by further research. The GR III has been tested and found to comply with ISDE's radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment and complies with ISDE's Radio Frequency (RF) Rules CNR-102.
