This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA FLISAT Children's Desk. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe and correct assembly.

Assembly Steps

Step 1

Assemble the base frame. Attach the two side panels (labeled '1') to the bottom frame pieces (labeled '2' and '3'). Use four screws (part number 101350) and a screwdriver ?.

Step 2

Attach the second side panel. Insert two screws (part number 101350) into the designated holes on the second side panel (labeled '2') and secure it to the frame using a screwdriver ?.

Step 3

Attach the third side panel. Insert two screws (part number 101350) into the designated holes on the third side panel (labeled '3') and secure it to the frame using a screwdriver ?.

Step 4

Connect the top frame. Place the top frame piece onto the assembled side panels. Ensure it aligns correctly with the pre-drilled holes.

Step 5

Secure the top frame. Use three screws (part number 100223) and the Allen key ? (part number 100001) to attach the top frame to the side panels. Note: Do not use screw 100214 for this step, as indicated by the ❌ symbol.

Step 6

Attach the remaining top frame piece. Use one screw (part number 100214) and the Allen key ? (part number 100001) to attach the final top frame piece to the side panels. Note: Do not use screw 100223 for this step, as indicated by the ❌ symbol.

Step 7

The frame is now partially assembled. The image shows the structure being rotated.

Step 8

Attach the side supports. Insert three screws (part number 100223) into the side supports and secure them to the main frame using the Allen key ? (part number 100001). Note: Do not use screw 100214 for this step, as indicated by the ❌ symbol.

Step 9

Attach the other side support. Insert one screw (part number 100214) into the remaining side support and secure it to the main frame using the Allen key ? (part number 100001). Note: Do not use screw 100223 for this step, as indicated by the ❌ symbol.

Step 10

Attach the side rails. Use two screws (part number 118832) and a screwdriver ? to attach the side rails to the main structure. Also, use two screws (part number 100644) and a screwdriver ? for the other side rail.

Step 11

Attach the support brackets. Use two screws (part number 109510) and a screwdriver ? to attach the support brackets. Then, attach the foot caps (part number 145743) and dowels (part number 123787) to the bottom of the legs using a screwdriver ?.

Step 12

Assemble the side panels for the desk surface. Connect the two longer side panels using dowels and screws (part number 101350, 2x) with a screwdriver ?.

Step 13

Assemble the front and back panels for the desk surface. Connect these panels to the side panels assembled in the previous step using six screws (part number 101350) and a screwdriver ?.

Step 14

The desk surface frame is now assembled. The image shows it being rotated.

Step 15

Place the desk surface panels. Position the two desk surface panels onto the assembled frame, ensuring they fit correctly.

Step 16

The desk surface is now in place. The image shows it being rotated.

Step 17

Secure the desk surface. Use nine screws (part number 100224) and the Allen key ? (part number 100006) to attach the desk surface to the frame.

Step 18

Attach the side supports. Use two screws (part number 100644) and a screwdriver ? to attach the side supports to the main desk structure.

Step 19

Attach the retaining clips. Use two screws (part number 100823) and a screwdriver ? to attach the retaining clips to the desk structure.

Step 20

Place the desk insert. Position the desk insert onto the main desk structure, aligning it with the guides.

Step 21

Secure the desk insert. The image shows how to align and attach the desk insert using screws.

Step 22

Attach the side handles. Use two screws (part number 118832) and a screwdriver ? to attach the side handles to the desk insert.

Step 23

Prepare the legs. Insert four screws (part number 123840) into the bottom of the leg pieces using a hammer ?.

Step 24

Attach the legs. Insert the assembled legs into the main desk structure. Use eight cam lock bolts (part number 145715) and a screwdriver ? to secure the legs. Also, use four screws (part number 100823) and a screwdriver ?.

Step 25

The desk is now assembled. The image shows the final structure.

Step 26

Place the desk insert into its final position.

Step 27

Secure the desk insert using the provided straps (part number 149839).

Step 28

Final checks. Ensure all screws are tightened. The image shows attaching the strap using screws (part numbers 100823 and 109049) and the strap (149839).
