INSTALLATION
1. Disassemble the Downrod Assembly (B)
Remove the "R" pin (EE) and clevis pin (FF) from the downrod assembly (B).
2. Install the Downrod (B/C)
- Assemble the canopy (A) and coupling cover (D). Route wires from the fan through the downrod (B/C).
- Loosen the set screw on yoke (do not remove), insert downrod (B/C) into yoke, and align the holes of downrod (B/C) with those of yoke.
- Pass clevis pin (FF) through the holes of downrod (B/C) and yoke, insert "R" pin (EE) into the hole of clevis pin (FF), and tighten set screws.
- Fit coupling cover (D) onto fan assembly (E).
3. MOUNT THE BRACKET
- Pass the power wires through the center hole in the mounting bracket (AA).
- Fix the mounting bracket (AA) to the ceiling outlet box using outlet box screws (CC) and flat washers (DD).
- Hang the downrod (B/C) of the installed fan onto the mounting bracket (AA).
- Rotate the downrod (B/C) until the seat tab in the mounting bracket (AA) is seated in the groove in the downrod ball.
4. CONNECT THE WIRES
- Connect the wires from the fan to the house supply wires with wire nuts (BB), ground wire (green, green/yelow, or bare copper) to ground wire, neutral wire (white) to neutral wire, and hot wire (black) to hot wire. Wrap the connection with electrical tape.
- Spread apart the wires so that the hot wires are on one side of the outlet box and the neutral wires are on the other side.
NOTE: This fan only needs one set of input wires (black, white, and ground wire). Both of the fan and lights will be controlled by the remote controller. This fan can only be connected to an on/off switch if you have one, not a dimmer switch.
5. INSTALL THE CANOPY
- Loosen canopy screw from mounting bracket (AA), but do not take off.
- Push canopy (A) upwards, allowing canopy screw to pass through the hole in canopy.
- Rotate canopy clockwise so that it is caught by canopy screw and does not fall down.
- Tighten canopy screw to secure canopy.
6. INSTALL THE Glass Shade
Tighten the threaded rod (F) to the appropriate length, then secure it with the hex nut. Warning: Avoid excessive rotation to prevent wire damage.
Secure the glass shade (G) to the fan assembly (E) using a knurled nut (H).
INSTALL THE REMOTE HOLDER
- Insert 2 batteries before using: AAA 1.5V battery x 2pcs (not included).
- Mark and drill screw holes in the wall, then insert the remote holder anchors (JJ).
