Beurer GmbH Recognized Among Germany's Top Family Businesses 2020

WirtschaftsWoche has named Beurer GmbH as one of "Germany's Top Family Businesses 2020." In a recent study, the Ulm-based family business achieved sixth place out of 500 evaluated small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Marketing Director Kerstin Glanzer accepted the certificate on behalf of Beurer.

The study identified the 50 most visible, innovative, and popular companies with a turnover between €250 million and €1 billion. A jury of approximately 1,000 economic experts assessed the visibility and profile of around 500 SMEs. Subsequently, 1,350 respondents were surveyed regarding the remaining 220 companies, focusing on trust, quality, innovation, sustainability, and their image as a company and employer. The final ranking was determined by the ratio of average sales and employee growth, alongside the number of patents filed between 2016 and 2018.

Beurer filed numerous patents during this period, including the FM 200 Achillomed® Achilles tendon massager, the FC 55 Pureo Complete Cleansing powered body brush with a removable handle, and the maremed® MK 500 sea air simulator, designed to create a natural marine climate at home.
