Remote Overview and Functions
This section describes the buttons and features of the Thomson RC112AS remote control.
Power Source: Requires 2x AAA batteries (not included).
Button Functions:
- Power On/Off: Turns the TV on or off.
- Back: Navigates to the previous screen or menu.
- Voice Control Assistant: (Requires Smart TV and Bluetooth mode) Allows voice commands. [Microphone]
- Navigation: Controls movement within menus and on-screen interfaces. [Navigation Arrows]
- Volume +/-: Adjusts the TV volume. [Volume Up], [Volume Down]
- Source: Selects the input source (e.g., HDMI, TV). [Input Source]
- Home: (Smart TV only) Accesses the main smart TV interface. [Home]
- OK / Backlight: Confirms selections or turns the remote backlight on/off (press and hold for 5 seconds). [OK]
- Mute: Silences the TV audio. [Mute]
- Channel Up/Down: Changes TV channels. [Channel Up], [Channel Down]
- Direct connection to last HDMI source: (Smart TV only) Quickly switches to the last used HDMI input. [HDMI]
- Direct access to Live TV: (Smart TV only) Launches the live TV interface. [Live TV]
- Favourite Channels: (Smart TV only) Accesses saved favorite channels. [Favorite Star]
Smart TV Features: Set/Open Favorite Apps.
Easy TV Features: Favorite Channel List (requires initial setup with a standard Easy TV remote).
Note: The Easy TV mode operates via Infrared (IR).
Pairing Instructions
The remote can be paired with your TV for enhanced functionality, such as voice control.
Pairing with Android TV:
1. Ensure your TV is in pairing mode.
2. Press and hold the 'OK' button and the 'Back' button on the remote simultaneously for 5-15 seconds.
3. The remote should now be paired.
Pairing with Google TV:
1. Ensure your TV is in pairing mode.
2. Press and hold the 'OK' button and the 'Back' button on the remote simultaneously for 5-15 seconds.
3. The remote should now be paired.
