Removing/Inserting the Battery To remove the battery, push in the release buttons and pull the battery pack away from the device. WARNING Always remove the battery any time the device is not in pack use. To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body of the device. Make sure it latches securely into place. WARNING Only use accessories recommended for this specifically device. Oth- ers may be hazardous. Low Power Indication When the speaker's battery is low, a low battery tone will play 3 times, the farthest left LED on the light bar will flash 3 times, and the light bar will flash once before turning solid. Music will continue to play. Before the battery runs out of power, the low battery tone will play 3 times, the farthest left LED on the light bar will flash 3 times, and the speaker will power off. USB Port When the speaker is powered on, this USB port can be used to charge a cell phone, MP3 player, or any other device that uses less than 3 A of DC electrical current. NOTE: Any device that uses more than 3 A of DC electrical current will trip a self-resetting overload and disable the output. 3 OPERATION WARNING To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this speaker to rain or moisture. Turning ON/OFF and Pairing to Bluetooth® 1. Insert the battery. 2. Press the power button . A tone will sound and the light bar will pulse, indicating the speaker has powered on. 3. The speaker will begin making a radar tone as it automatically searches for a Bluetooth® device. To pair a device to the speaker, select "MILWAUKEE 2954" on the Bluetooth® capable device. 4. Once paired, the speaker will beep and the light bar will turn solid. NOTE: The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last-paired device if it is in range when the speaker is turned on. 5. Once the device is successfully paired with the speaker, use the controls on the Bluetooth® capable device or the speaker to move through tracks and control volume. 6. To pair the speaker to a new device, hold down the Bluetooth® button for a few seconds. The speaker will begin making a radar tone and the light bar will pulse. Follow steps 3 and 4 with the new Bluetooth® capable device. 7. To turn the speaker off, press the power button . NOTE: The speaker will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Volume Press or hold the volume down and volume up buttons to decrease or increase the volume. The light bar will fill to show the increase / decrease. A tone will play and the light bar will flash when maximum or minimum volume is reached. Audio Link Audio link allows more than one 2954-20 speaker to be connected and controlled by the same Bluetooth® capable device. To activate audio link: 1. Turn the first speaker on and connect to a Bluetooth® capable device. 2. Press the audio link button on the first speaker. A tone will play and the light bar will flash once before turning solid. 3. Turn on the second speaker. 4. Press the audio link button on the second speaker. A tone will play. The second speaker's light bar will show the volume of the first speaker once connected. 5. Repeat step 4 for each additional speaker. 6. To disconnect an individual speaker, press the audio link button or turn the speaker off. 7. To end audio link for all speakers, press audio link button on the first speaker or turn the first speaker off. EQ Adjustment 1. To adjust level of bass, hold down the play / pause button . A bass tone will indicate you have entered bass adjustment mode. NOTE: This speaker will exit EQ adjustment mode after a few seconds of inactivity. Make all adjustments quickly. 2. Press the volume down / volume up or the previous track / next track buttons to adjust the level of bass. The light bar will show the increase/decrease. 3. To adjust level of treble, press the play / pause button again while in bass adjustment mode. 4. Press the volume down / volume up or the previous track / next track buttons to adjust the level of treble. The light bar will fill to show the increase / decrease. 5. To exit EQ adjustment mode, press the play / pause button or wait a few seconds after adjusting the bass or treble. The light bar will revert back to a solid light when the speaker has exited EQ adjustment. Hanging Options There are several ways of hanging the speaker: ·Using the speaker handle to hang it from a cart or other stable edge surface. ·Using the handle's nail hook to hang it from a nail. ·Using the handle's pass-through to hang it from a rope or wire. NOTE: Sound performance may be affected depending on how the speaker is hung. NOTICE Do not hang the speaker from positions that are not sturdy or stable enough to support the speaker's weight. NOTE: The stand does not connect the device to the speaker or charge the device. 4 Factory Reset To reset the speaker to factory settings: 1. Set the speaker to pairing mode by holding down the Bluetooth® button until the speaker makes a radar tone and the light bar begins to pulse. Do not connect the speaker to a device. 2. Hold down the Bluetooth® , audio link , and play / pause buttons for 5 seconds. The speaker will reset to factory settings.
