TPMS Sensor Product Introduction and Usage Guide

1. Product Overview

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is designed to monitor, display, and confirm the working status of tires. It alerts users to abnormal tire conditions such as overpressure, underpressure, overtemperature, and sudden atmospheric pressure changes. The system provides safety alerts through sound and light, along with a digital display, to prevent tire blowouts and ensure tires are used within their reasonable lifespan. This product requires an ATEQ VT41 or VT46 trigger device for programming. The programming process involves selecting the car brand, type, year, and alignment, then pressing the programming button on the device. After programming, the sensor can be set for learning. Learning methods include those used by Buick Correo.

2. Installation and Learning Process

  1. Put four sensors into the tires according to the normal flushing pressure value.
  2. Use a Gusin trigger or ATEQ VT41/VT46 trigger to enter the programming interface. Select the version, model, and year, and program each sensor.
  3. Press the MENU key on the indicated street lamp. Select 'Fuel Mileage Information MENU' under 'Tire Pressure Display', and press the Set/Clr key.
  4. The message "Tire pressure needs to learn" will be displayed in the driver information center. Select 'Yes' and press Set/Clr. The horn will sound twice.
  5. The message "Enable tire pressure learning" will be displayed in the driver information center.
  6. Starting with the left front wheel, position the instrument antenna near the anti-valve core position, close to the tire hub. Press the tool's start switch. A "beep" sound will indicate that the tire pressure sensor information has been read.
  7. Following the same method, read the sensors for the right front wheel, right rear wheel, and left rear wheel in sequence. When the learning process is complete, the steering signal will be transmitted for 3 seconds, followed by two horn beeps.

Note: If this learning process is not suitable, please visit a 4S shop for computer-assisted learning.

3. Relearn Judgment

Relearning tire pressure is necessary when the tire pressure monitoring system fails, when tires are transposed, when the tire body control module is replaced, or when the tire pressure monitoring sensor itself is replaced.

4. Removing a Faulty Tire Pressure Sensor

Removal Tool: T10 hex socket wrench or direct valve replacement.

After removing the faulty tire pressure sensor, the new sensor must be learned.

5. Installation, Inspection, and Judgment

After installing a new sensor and completing the relearning process, check the dashboard. If the failure light turns off and each tire's pressure value is displayed correctly, the installation is considered correct.
