Overview
This appliance is designed for household use and similar applications, including shops, offices, or commercial kitchens, farms, hotels, motels, and family accommodations. It is primarily designed for cooling and storing food items like fruits and beverages. It features a compact design, high efficiency, and low energy consumption.
User Instructions
Read all instructions carefully before using the refrigerator.
- Do not place hot food directly inside the refrigerator.
- Wrap all food items in plastic wrap to prevent drying and preserve freshness.
- Always close the refrigerator door immediately after each use.
- If the refrigerator will not be used for a long period, disconnect the power, clean the interior, store it in a dry place, and leave the doors slightly ajar.
Unpacking Guide
Cut the packaging tape and lift the carton upwards.
Re-packing
Ensure the original foam pads are correctly placed.
Transport
Always keep the refrigerator trays in a vertical position during transport. Do not tilt the refrigerator more than 45 degrees from its vertical position.
Installation
- Place the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface.
- Keep the appliance away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humid environments.
- Ensure there is sufficient space between the refrigerator and the wall to allow for adequate air circulation.
- If installing the refrigerator inside a cabinet, ensure the cabinet's rear panel is removed to provide adequate air circulation.
Operation
Before connecting the refrigerator to power, ensure:
- There is no visible damage to the electrical wiring.
- Every screw is securely fastened.
- The wall socket is properly grounded.
Ensure everything is in normal condition before connecting the refrigerator to power.
First-time operation
Before loading food, run the refrigerator without any load until it reaches the desired temperature. This typically takes two to three hours. Then, set the thermostat to the desired setting and place food inside.
Temperature Control
The refrigerator temperature can be adjusted by turning the thermostat knob. The closer the setting is to '5', the colder the temperature. The medium setting is ideal for general use. Set the thermostat to '5' only when ice cubes are needed or when storing frozen foods.
Defrosting
Defrost the freezer compartment when the ice layer on the evaporator reaches 3-4 mm. When defrosting, remove all food trays and ice cubes. Place the drip tray underneath to collect melted water. Set the thermostat to '.' and leave the door open. After the ice has melted, dispose of the meltwater and dry the interior of the refrigerator.
The refrigerator can be restarted by returning the thermostat to the desired setting.
Warning: Never use sharp metal tools (like knives) to remove ice or frost from the evaporator, as this could damage it. Puncturing the evaporator can lead to serious problems.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean the refrigerator, disconnect the power and remove food, shelves, and trays. Use a solution mixed with two tablespoons of baking soda per liter of warm water to clean the interior. Then wipe with fresh water. Never use acids, chemical thinners, gasoline, or similar substances to clean any part of the refrigerator. Additionally, do not use boiling water or gasoline to clean plastic parts, as they may warp or damage them.
Storing large quantities of food or large containers in the refrigerator may affect cold air circulation, so leave some space. It is recommended to store at about 70% of the storage capacity.
Electrical Safety Instructions
Do not store volatile or explosive materials such as gasoline or liquefied petroleum gas in the refrigerator. This poses a fire or explosion risk from electrical sparks.
- Before connecting the refrigerator to power, ensure the household power source matches the voltage and frequency indicated on the rating plate, usually located on the back of the appliance.
- Always connect the refrigerator to a dedicated electrical outlet to avoid overloading and reduce the risk of fire due to overheating wires.
- Do not spray water on the refrigerator, as this may cause electrical leakage or malfunction.
- If the power cord is damaged, replace it immediately with one of the same specifications.
- Ensure the refrigerator is properly grounded for safety.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for accidents resulting from improper operation.
