Attentions & Troubleshooting

General Attentions

  1. Unable to trigger flash or camera shutter: Ensure batteries are installed correctly and Power Switch is ON. Check if transmitter and receiver are on the same channel, hotshoe mount/cable is connected, and flash is in the correct mode.
  2. Camera shoots but does not focus: Check camera/lens focus mode. Set to AF if it's MF.
  3. Signal disturbance or shooting interference: Change the channel on the device.

The Reason & Solution of Not Triggering in Godox 2.4G Wireless

  1. Disturbed by 2.4G signal (e.g., Wi-Fi router, Bluetooth): Adjust channel (add 10+ channels) or turn off other 2.4G equipment.
  2. Flash not recycled or caught up: Ensure flash ready indicator is lit. Flash is not in over-heat protection or abnormal state. Downgrade flash power. If in TTL mode, try M mode (preflash needed).
  3. Distance too close (<0.5m): Turn on "close distance wireless mode" or set MENU->DIST to 0-30m.
  4. Low battery: Replace batteries (1.5V disposable alkaline recommended).

Caring for Flash Trigger

  • Avoid sudden drops, shocks, or impacts.
  • Keep dry. The product is not waterproof. Malfunction, rust, and corrosion may occur if soaked or exposed to high humidity.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent condensation. Place the transceiver in a handbag or plastic bag beforehand when moving between different temperature environments.
  • Keep away from strong magnetic fields, static electricity, or magnetic fields produced by radio transmitters, as they can cause malfunction.
