Single-leaf side doors with corner frame
Fitting dimensions
Handing for single-leaf door sets
Standard sizes with steel infill and on-site infill doors are supplied for external fitting as standard. For standard sizes, internal fitting is possible by reversing the hinges.
- Special sizes according to specifications.
- Dual handed, depending on the style.
- Styles with timber infill only available for external fitting.
Single-leaf side door with corner frame
Position of anchors: A diagram shows a vertical door frame with anchor points. Dimensions indicate 250 mm from the edge to the first anchor, and 75 mm between subsequent anchor points.
Without threshold: A diagram illustrates the door frame installed without a threshold. It details various height and width measurements, including Overall Frame Height (RAMH), Clear Passage Height (LDH), Structural Opening Height (LMH), Ordering Size Height (BMH), related to Nominal Size Height (BRH). It also shows Overall Frame Width (RAMB), Clear Passage Width (LDB), Structural Opening Width (LMB), Ordering Size Width (BMB), Nominal Size Width (BRB), and Finished Floor Level (OFF).
With threshold: A diagram shows the door frame installed with a threshold. Similar height and width measurements are indicated as in the 'Without threshold' view, with potential adjustments for the threshold.
Frame for single-leaf door set
A diagram shows a cross-section of the door frame, indicating a viewed width of 32.5 mm.
External fitting - opening outwards
A diagram depicts the door frame mounted on a wall, with the door designed to open outwards. It shows dimensions relating frame sizes (RAMB, RAMH) to ordering sizes (BRB, BRH) and structural openings (LMB, LMH). The diagram also indicates the exterior dimension (AUSS) and the finished floor level (OFF).
Internal fitting - opening inwards
A diagram illustrates the door frame mounted on a wall, with the door designed to open inwards. It displays similar dimensional relationships as the external fitting diagram, showing exterior dimension (AUSS) and finished floor level (OFF).
Handing
Left-hand hinged: A diagram indicates the hinge placement for a left-hand opening door.
Right-hand hinged: A diagram indicates the hinge placement for a right-hand opening door.
Note
When doors are fitted on the inside, the threshold angle or transport angle must be removed to ensure water run-off to the outside. Doors on the weather side are preferably fitted externally.
The clear passage width is reduced if the opening angle is less than 180°.
