General Notes and Compliance
- Refrigerant R32: Compliance with DIN EN 378, IEC60335-2-40, F-GASE, and Chemical Climate Protection Ordinance is required. Refer to the R32 Tool on www.toshiba-klima-waerme.de for further information.
- Measurement Conditions: Specific measurement conditions (cooling: 27°C indoor, 35°C outdoor; heating: 20°C indoor, 7°C outdoor) and refrigerant line lengths (7.5m) are detailed.
- Sound Pressure Level: Measured according to JIS B 8616. Values are based on nominal conditions with high fan speed.
- Energy Efficiency: Classes (EER, COP, SEER, SCOP) are determined according to EU Directive 2002/31/EC and EN14825.
- P-Design: Based on T bivalent: -7°C.
- Maximum Operating Current: According to JIS B 8615.
- WHG and VAwS Compliance: All systems must meet the fundamental requirements of the Water Resources Act (WHG) and the Ordinance on Installations (VAwS).
- VDI 6022: All Toshiba indoor units must be inspected at specified intervals.
- Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases: Installation, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning of systems containing fluorinated greenhouse gases are certified activities. Compliance with relevant regulations (ChemOzonSchichtV, F-Gase Regulation EU No. 517/2014) is mandatory.
- Ecodesign Directive: Lot 10 applies to air conditioning systems under 12 kW, Lot 21 for systems over 12 kW. Lot 6 applies to air/air heat exchangers, and Lot 11 to fan motors. The directive applies to all imports into Europe. Toshiba products comply with these requirements. More information is available at ecodesign.toshiba-airconditioning.eu.
- Eurovent Certification: Toshiba Air Conditioning participates in the ECP program for Comfort Air Conditioners. Certificate validity can be checked at www.eurovent-certification.com.
