Tapo is the easy way to turn your home into a smart home. At the center of it all is the Tapo Hub.
With superior ultra-low-power performance, Tapo Hub connects wirelessly with a wide range of Tapo accessories. So you can easily control and monitor your home from anywhere.
The Tapo Hub is a compact device designed to be the central controller for your smart home ecosystem.
Hub Components and Status

- Starting up: Solid blue
- Ready for setup: Blinking orange and blue
- Connecting to Wi-Fi: Blinking orange
- Connected to Wi-Fi: Solid blue
- Pairing with Tapo accessory: Blinking blue slowly
- Offline: Solid orange
⚙️ SYNC Button
- Single press: Enter pairing mode; Silence when ringing.
- Press and hold for 5s: Reset Wi-Fi settings and keep other settings.
- Press and hold for 10s: Restore your hub to factory default settings.
Getting Started
1. Download Tapo App
Get the Tapo app from the ? App Store or ▶️ Google Play.

2. Set Up Your Tapo Hub
Tap the [Add Button] button in the app and select Hubs. Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup.

3. Add Tapo Accessories
After the Tapo hub is successfully added, connect your Tapo devices to your hub.
