1. Pairing

This guide provides instructions for pairing and operating your Motorola ROKR 500 speaker.

Type-C Input Port is available for charging.

Power Operations

Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the device ON or OFF. Once ON, select "ROKR 500" from your phone's Bluetooth menu.
Two Speaker Link Mode: Double-click the power button to enter the mode for linking two speakers.

Volume Control

Volume Down: Short press to decrease volume. Press and hold for 2 seconds to play the previous track.
Volume Up: Short press to increase volume. Press and hold for 2 seconds to play the next track.

Playback and Connectivity

Play/Pause / Handsfree / BT Disconnect: Short press to play or pause music. Press and hold for 2 seconds to connect or disconnect Bluetooth. Double press to activate the voice assistant.

Wireless Charging

When the ROKR 500 is powered on or charging via a power supply, place your phone on the product's wireless charging pad (center it with the wireless charging symbol) to charge your device.

Power Saving Mode

The device will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity (no audio input or function operation).

Bluetooth Connection Processes

Single Speaker BT Connection:

Turn on a single speaker. The blue LED will flash. Wait for the "Pairing" audio prompt.
Select "ROKR 500" from your device's Bluetooth menu to pair the speaker. You will hear "Pairing complete" upon successful connection.

Two Speaker Linking (TWS):

Turn on both speakers. Double-click the power button on either speaker to enter link mode. You will hear "Left Channel, Right Channel".
On your device's Bluetooth menu, select the "ROKR 500" model. You will hear "Pairing complete" when the speakers are connected.
If you previously paired one speaker, turn on the second speaker. After hearing "Pairing", double-click the power button to enter link mode. You will hear "Left Channel, Right Channel".

Type-C Input Charging

10W Fast Charge Mode: Requires a Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 adapter. Power supply for Type-C input must be 5V/2A or 9V 2A.
5W Standard Charge Mode: Requires a 5V/2A adapter.
Do not use a 5V/1A charger or a computer's USB port for powering the wireless charger.

2. Basic Operation & Status Indicators
