IKEA Promotional Campaign: Offer on Selected Storage Systems, Decorations, and Home Textiles
This document outlines the official regulations for the promotional campaign organized by IKEA Romania S.A. The campaign offers discounts on a selection of storage systems, decorations, and home textiles.
Section 1. Organizer
The organizer of the promotional campaign is IKEA Romania S.A., with its registered office in Bucharest, Romania. The company is registered with the Trade Register under number J2005008161401 and has fiscal attribute RO. Its bank account details are provided.
Participation in this campaign signifies full agreement with these regulations. Failure to comply may result in the forfeiture of offered discounts.
Section 2. Campaign Location
The campaign is available online at www.IKEA.ro and in physical IKEA stores located in:
- Bucharest, Sector 1, Șos. București Ploiești nr. 42A (IKEA Băneasa Store)
- Bucharest, Sector 3, Blvd. Theodor Pallady nr. 57 (IKEA Pallady Store)
- Dumbrăvița Village, Dumbrăvița Commune, Bulevardul Petre Țuțea, Nr. 2A, Timiș County (IKEA Timișoara Store)
- Constanța Municipality, Strada Cumpenei, Nr. 2, Constanța County
Section 3. Campaign Duration
The campaign runs on May 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:59 PM on IKEA.ro. In IKEA stores, the hours are as follows:
- IKEA Băneasa: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
- IKEA Pallady: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
- IKEA Timișoara: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Constanța (working point): 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Section 4. Participants
Participation is open to any individual over 18 years of age, regardless of domicile, and any legal entity, regardless of its registered office, for purchases of furniture and accessories from the specified IKEA stores. Participants must be members of the IKEA Family or IKEA Business Network loyalty programs. Membership can be obtained online or at the mentioned IKEA stores. Individuals under 18 years of age on the campaign start date (May 16, 2025) are not eligible.

The campaign offers price reductions on the products listed below. These discounts are applicable both in IKEA stores and on the IKEA.ro website. The reduction is applied as follows:

Section 6. Campaign Mechanism and Discount Application
Conditions for applying discounts: To participate, customers must purchase one or more products included in the campaign during the campaign period from IKEA stores or the IKEA.ro website.
Discount application:
- For purchases in IKEA stores, the discount is applied directly at the checkout after scanning the products.
- For online purchases, the discount is applied after adding products to the cart, proceeding to checkout, selecting delivery options (delivery or click & collect), filling in participant information, and completing the payment.
The fiscal receipt or invoice will directly show the reduced price of the products included in the campaign.
Section 7. Discount Alternatives
Participants who benefit from the discount cannot receive its cash equivalent or request modifications to the discount application parameters.
Section 8. Product Returns
Returns of products purchased under these regulations are permitted in accordance with IKEA's return policy, available in brochures at IKEA stores and on the website: IKEA.ro/retur.
Section 9. Campaign Regulations
By participating, participants agree to comply with and adhere to these regulations. The campaign regulations are available free of charge upon request by calling 021-407.45.32 (normal tariff, Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, excluding public holidays) during the campaign period, or can be viewed on www.IKEA.ro. For campaign-related inquiries, participants can call the same number for information.
In case of fraud or disputes, IKEA reserves the right to take all necessary legal measures.
Section 10. Campaign Termination and Regulation Modification
IKEA reserves the right to modify and/or supplement these regulations, as well as to suspend and/or terminate/interrupt/extend the campaign, provided that participants are notified in advance of any changes. Any modifications or additions to the regulations will be communicated via additional acts to the regulations, published on the IKEA.ro website before they come into effect.
The campaign may also terminate before its scheduled end date in the event of force majeure, including situations where IKEA is unable to continue the campaign due to reasons beyond its control. Force majeure is defined as any event that cannot be controlled, remedied, or foreseen by IKEA, including circumstances that make it impossible for IKEA to fulfill its obligations.
If force majeure prevents or delays the execution of the regulations or the continuation of the campaign, IKEA will be exempt from liability for the period of such impediment or delay, in accordance with the Civil Code. IKEA must notify participants of any force majeure event within 5 working days of its occurrence.
Section 11. Disputes and Applicable Law
Any disputes arising between the Organizer and Participants will be resolved amicably. If an amicable resolution is not possible, disputes will be settled by the competent Romanian courts in Bucharest. Romanian law applies.
Section 12. Taxes and Duties
Applicable regulations regarding offered discounts will be applied.
Section 13. Personal Data Protection
Personal data of participants will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Personal data will be processed by IKEA Romania S.A. for the purpose of organizing and conducting the campaign, including winner selection and prize awarding. Data will be stored for 10 years from the end of the financial year in which prize taxes were paid. Participants have rights regarding their data, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP). These rights can be exercised via the contact methods provided on the IKEA website or via email.
IKEA will not process or store data of individuals under 18 years of age. If such data is received, it will be immediately deleted. IKEA will implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security. IKEA may modify these data clauses, with participants being notified of any changes.
Section 14. Other Clauses
The Organizer's decisions regarding the campaign are final and binding on all participants. Products not sold during the campaign period will remain the property of the Organizer. If any provision of these regulations is declared void, the remaining provisions will remain valid.
