- NO unlock wiring: Shows connections for the doorbell to a lock (normally open), exit button, user monitor, and power supply.
- NC unlock wiring: Depicts connections for the doorbell to a lock (normally closed), exit button, user monitor, and power supply.
Note: Swapping the order of wires through the 4-pin female connector is permissible.
Swiping Card Operation
NOTE: For card management, WG1 & WG0 must be connected.
- Master Card Registration: Upon first use, the speaker beeps and the call button indicator blinks. Swiping a card will produce a beep, authorizing it as the master card (cannot open the lock).
- User Card Registration:
- Swipe the master card once. The button indicator stays lit. Swipe user cards sequentially. Swiping an already added user card twice exits the mode. The system auto-exits after 30 seconds of inactivity.
- Up to 100 user cards can be registered. Card reading distance is less than 3cm. The master card is required for adding/deleting user cards. Keep the master card safe.
- Deleting Master and User Cards:
- Swipe the master card four times consecutively to delete all user cards and the master card. The doorbell will then be ready for new master card registration.
- If the master card is lost, a short press of the RESET button on the rear side will delete the master card and all user cards.
- Swiping Card Unlock: In standby mode, swiping a registered user card will unlock the door. The default unlock time is 5 seconds.
Video Doorbell Operation
Pressing the call button initiates a call. Operation via the user monitor interface is detailed in the NVE-M200WIFI manual.
Notes:
- If the lock is powered by 12 VDC, the same power supply can be used for the lock and the built-in card reader.
- A long press (over 5 seconds) of the 'Camera signal switch & RESET button' switches camera signal modes (AHD/CVBS/CVI/TVI). AHD mode is recommended.
- A short press (under 2 seconds) of the same button restores factory default settings.
- If the doorbell functions as a Wiegand 26 reader, the access control controller, not the doorbell, decides on opening.
- The maximum cable length between the monitor and the doorbell is 20m.
Doorbell Installation
Follow these steps for installation:
- Select the optimal doorbell position, avoiding direct sunlight, dark surroundings, and rain for the camera.
- Recommended installation height is 1.5 to 1.6 meters.
- Dig a hole at the determined height on the wall.
- Disassemble the bracket from the outdoor panel.
- Fix the bracket to the wall using the provided screws and expansion bolts.
- Route the cables through the wall and bracket, then connect them to the doorbell's connector wire.
