Defrosting Frozen Food
- Defrosting is an important step when storing food that has been frozen. Food must be defrosted correctly.
- Suitable methods for defrosting food are:
- in the refrigerator,
- in cold water,
- in a microwave oven or combi-steamer with an appropriate defrosting program.
- Some frozen foods can be prepared without prior defrosting. The manufacturer indicates this information on the packaging.
- Food must be frozen in small quantities. Food will then defrost more quickly.
- Consume partially or fully defrosted food as quickly as possible. Bacteria in defrosted food reactivate, and the food spoils more quickly. This applies especially to fruits, vegetables, and already cooked frozen foods.
- Do not refreeze partially or fully defrosted food.
Appliance Defrosting (Total NoFrost)
The modern Total NoFrost technology in the freezer compartment prevents ice formation and frost accumulation on food, thus enabling economical operation, greater visibility, and full use of space.
In the refrigerator compartment, it prevents food from drying out by maintaining humidity and freshness.
Defrosting of the refrigerator and freezer compartments is automatic, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual defrosting and cleaning.

Appliance Noise Information
Cooling in refrigerators and freezers is enabled by a compressor cooling system (and in some appliances, fans and air dampers), which also generates a certain amount of noise. The intensity of the noise depends on the installation, correct use, and age of the appliance.
- After the appliance starts, the compressor operation or refrigerant flow during operation may be louder (buzzing, humming, and sounds of liquid). This is not a sign of malfunction and does not affect the appliance's lifespan. Over time, as the appliance operates, the loudness of these sounds decreases.
- NoFrost appliances regularly defrost ice, and knocking and creaking sounds may occur due to ice falling into the drain trough and water dripping onto the defrost heater. Cracking sounds may also occur due to the expansion and contraction of various components due to large temperature changes. All these sounds are normal and do not affect the appliance's lifespan.
- When closing the doors, humming may occur due to pressure equalization in the appliance.
- Sometimes, unusual or higher noise may occur during appliance operation; this is usually due to incorrect appliance installation:
- The appliance must stand on a level and stable surface.
- The appliance must not touch walls or adjacent furniture.
- Ensure that the internal equipment is securely in place and that noise cannot be caused by moving cans, bottles, or other containers placed next to each other.
- Due to increased load on the cooling system, e.g., when doors are opened frequently or left open for a long time, when a larger amount of fresh food is inserted, or when intensive freezing or cooling functions are activated, the appliance may temporarily generate higher noise.
Environmental Protection
The packaging is made from environmentally friendly materials that can be recycled or disposed of without any risk to the environment.
