Intel Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare Motherboard for LGA1200/115X
Attach the Intel mounting bracket (A) to the motherboard using standoffs (C) and blue screws (D).
Step 2: Prepare Motherboard for LGA1851/1700
Mount the Intel backplate (G) behind the motherboard. Install standoffs (C) through the motherboard. Attach the universal mounting bracket (B) onto the standoffs using black screws (E) and nuts (G).
Step 3: Mount Heatsink
Apply thermal paste to the CPU. Carefully place the heatsink assembly onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting brackets.
Step 4: Secure Heatsink
For LGA1200/115X: Secure the heatsink by tightening heatsink mounting screws (H and I) alternately.
For LGA1851/1700: Secure the heatsink by tightening the black screws (E) alternately.
Step 5: Attach Fan
Use the fan clips (J) to attach the fan securely to the heatsink.
Step 6: Connect Fan Cable
Connect the fan's power cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.
AMD Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare Motherboard for AM4/AM5
Install the AMD standoffs (F) into the motherboard's mounting holes.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Bracket
Place the universal mounting bracket (B) over the standoffs and secure it using screws (E).
Step 3: Mount Heatsink
Apply thermal paste to the CPU. Position the heatsink assembly onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting bracket.
Step 4: Secure Heatsink
Tighten the heatsink mounting screws (E) alternately in a cross pattern for even pressure.
Step 5: Attach Fan
Use the fan clips (F) to attach the fan to the heatsink.
Step 6: Connect Fan Cable
Connect the fan's power cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.
Step 7: Connect ARGB Cable
Connect the ARGB cable to the motherboard's ARGB header.
Fan & MB SYNC Installation Guide
⚠️ CAUTION: Please power off the PC and check the positive and negative ends on the connector before connecting the cable to the motherboard. Connecting the wrong end can damage the fans.
Step 1: Understand Fan Connections
The fan has two main connectors: 5V_ARGB for lighting effects and CPU_FAN for fan power and speed monitoring.
Step 2: Connect to Motherboard
- Connect the 5V_ARGB cable to the motherboard's 5V ARGB header.
- Connect the CPU_FAN cable to the motherboard's CPU_FAN header.
