Welcome to your BISSELL CrossWave™ 3-in-1 cleaner. This guide provides instructions for assembly, operation, and maintenance.
Getting Started
The BISSELL CrossWave™ is designed to vacuum and wash your floors simultaneously. Please refer to the following steps for assembly and initial use.
Included Components:
- Main unit
- Handle assembly
- Cleaning formula
- Water tank
- Brush roll
- Storage tray
Assembly:
- Attach the handle assembly to the main unit. [arrow-right]
- Insert the clean water tank. [arrow-right]
- Fill the clean water tank with water and BISSELL cleaning formula as per instructions for large or small areas. [water-drop-symbol] [bottle-symbol]
- Ensure the brush roll is properly installed. [brush-symbol]
- Place the unit on the storage tray when not in use. [tray-symbol]

Operation
Before Cleaning:
- Ensure the unit is plugged into a power outlet. [plug-symbol]
- Fill the clean water tank and the formula tank as needed.
Cleaning Steps:
- Turn on the unit. [power-symbol]
- Select the appropriate cleaning mode (e.g., hard floors, area rugs).
- Move the unit back and forth over the soiled area. The unit will spray cleaning solution and vacuum up the dirty water.
- For stubborn stains, you may need to make multiple passes.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your BISSELL CrossWave™.
Emptying the Dirty Water Tank:
- Turn off and unplug the unit. [power-symbol] [unplug-symbol]
- Remove the dirty water tank. [tank-removal-symbol]
- Empty the contents into a toilet or sink.
- Rinse the tank with clean water.
- Reinstall the dirty water tank.
Cleaning the Brush Roll:

- Remove the brush roll cover. [cover-removal-symbol]
- Carefully remove the brush roll. [brush-removal-symbol]
- Rinse the brush roll under running water. [water-symbol]
- Allow the brush roll to air dry completely before reinstalling. [sun-symbol]
- Reinstall the brush roll and cover.
Cleaning the Filters:

- Locate and remove the filter(s). [filter-removal-symbol]
- Rinse the filter(s) with clean water. [water-symbol]
- Allow the filter(s) to air dry completely before reinstalling. [sun-symbol]
Cleaning the Nozzle and Foot:

- Wipe the nozzle and foot with a damp cloth. [cloth-symbol]
Storage:
Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably on its storage tray. Ensure all parts are dry before storage.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Unit not turning on: Ensure the unit is properly plugged in. [plug-symbol]
- No spray: Check if the clean water tank is filled and properly seated. Ensure the spray trigger is being pressed. [water-drop-symbol]
- Poor suction: Empty the dirty water tank. Clean or replace the filters. Check for blockages in the nozzle or hose. [blockage-symbol]
