Sets and Remote Option

The ARRI ALEXA is a 35 format film-style digital camera with a 16:9 active sensor area, suitable for multi-camera environments like Broadcast studios or OB vans. It can be remotely controlled for live painting via a SMPTE 311M fiber connection. The camera records QuickTime ProRes 4444, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (LT), and ProRes 422 (Proxy) files onto in-camera SxS PRO cards. It also supports MXF/DNxHD 220x and 145 with a DNxHD license key. Outputs are via HD-SDI on BNC connectors. Frame rates range from 0.75 to 60 fps, with up to 120 fps for ProRes 422 HQ using the High Speed license key. The ALEXA can output up to 1080/60p over the SMPTE 311M fiber connection. The electronic rolling shutter ranges from 5.0° to 358.0°.

The ARRI ALEXA Plus is a 35 format film-style digital camera with a 16:9 active sensor area and a built-in Lens Data System. It is designed for multi-camera environments such as Broadcast studios or OB vans. Remote control for live painting is available through a SMPTE 311M fiber connection. The camera records QuickTime ProRes 4444, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (LT), and ProRes 422 (Proxy) files onto in-camera SxS PRO cards, or MXF/DNxHD 220x and 145 with the DNxHD license key. It outputs HD-SDI via BNC connectors. Frame rates are from 0.75 to 60 fps (0.75-120 fps for ProRes 422 HQ with High Speed license key). It supports up to 1080/60p over the SMPTE 311M fiber connection. The electronic rolling shutter ranges from 5.0° to 358.0°. The ALEXA Plus features built-in real-time wireless lens control and REC support with the ARRI Wireless Remote System (WRS). It includes an additional MON OUT and RS socket, motion sensors, and quick switch BNC connectors.
