Traceable 100-Hour Timer Instructions

Product Overview

This document provides instructions for operating the Traceable 100-Hour Timer. The timer features time-of-day clock settings, countdown alarm timing, and count-up timing capabilities for single and multiple channels (T1, T2, T3, T4).

Time-of-Day Clock Setting

Press and HOLD the CLOCK button for 3 seconds.
The time-of-day will flash on the display.
Press the HR, MIN, or SEC button to set the desired time. Press and hold these buttons to advance the setting rapidly. The AM or PM indicator will appear on the right side of the display.
To change to a 24-hour format, press the CLEAR button while the display is still flashing in clock mode. Press CLEAR again to return to AM/PM format.
Press the CLOCK button to save the settings.

Countdown Alarm Timing – Single Channel

Select a timing channel between T1 and T4.
Set the desired time in HR, MIN, and SEC.
Press the START/STOP button to begin timing.
When the time is up, a flashing Alarm Clock symbol and COUNT UP will appear at the top of the display.
The alarm will sound for one minute and then turn off automatically. The Alarm Clock symbol will flash for one minute or until the alarm is turned off manually.
The timer will continue to count up until manually turned off by pressing START/STOP.
To turn off the alarm manually, press START/STOP.
Press CLEAR to return the display to 0:00:00.

Count-Up Timing – Single Channel

Select a timing channel between T1 and T4.
Press START/STOP to begin the count-up.
When timing is complete, press START/STOP.
Press CLEAR to return the display to 00:00:00.

Countdown Alarm Timing – 1-4 Channels

Press the T1, T2, T3, or T4 button.
Press HRS, MIN, or SEC to set the desired countdown time. Press and hold these buttons to advance the setting rapidly.
Press START/STOP to start the countdown.
When the time is up, an alarm will sound, and an Alarm Clock symbol will flash for one minute before turning off automatically.
To turn off the alarm manually, press START/STOP.
Press START/STOP. T1, T2, T3, and T4 will flash on the left side of the display. Only the channel showing on the display will not flash.
When time is up, an alarm will sound, and an Alarm Clock symbol will appear at the top of the display. Each channel has a unique sounding alarm: T1 beeps once, T2 beeps twice, T3 beeps three times, and T4 beeps four times. If multiple channels reach zero simultaneously, only the alarm for the displayed channel will be heard.
Press START/STOP to turn off the alarm.
Note: When time is up in countdown mode, the selected channel (T1, T2, T3, or T4) will not begin to count up.

Count-Up Timing – 1-4 Channels

Press the T1, T2, T3, or T4 button.
Press CLEAR to return the setting to 00:00:00.
Press START/STOP to begin timing up. The timer will start counting up.
Press START/STOP to end timing.
To count up on all four channels simultaneously: clear all channels. Press T1, then CLEAR, then START/STOP. Press T2, then CLEAR, then START/STOP. Press T3, then CLEAR, then START/STOP. Press T4, then CLEAR, then START/STOP. The display will show T1, T2, T3, and T4 at the top. The channel currently displayed will not flash.
To stop timing for T1, T2, T3, and T4, select the desired channel and then press START/STOP.

Operational Difficulties and Battery Replacement

If the timer does not function properly, replace the battery with a new one (see "Battery Replacement" section). Low battery power can cause operational difficulties. Replacing the battery with a fresh one will solve most issues.

Battery Replacement

An incorrect display, no display, or operational difficulties indicate that the batteries should be replaced. Slide open the battery cover on the back of the timer. Insert two (2) new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated in the battery compartment diagram. Replace the battery cover.
