Buyer Recommendations

Safety Precautions

Component Description
Microphone
① Microphone status indicator: Green indicates the microphone is on; red indicates low battery.
② Microphone on/off power switch: Controls the microphone power.
③ Microphone battery compartment: Houses the batteries for the microphone.
Receiver
④ Jack 6.3 mm output: Connects to an amplifier or sound system.
⑤ Receiver status indicator: Green indicates the receiver is on; red indicates communication with the microphone.
⑥ Receiver ON/MUTE/OFF switch: Controls the receiver power and mute function.
⑦ Swivel antenna: Improves signal reception.
⑧ Receiver battery compartment: Houses the batteries for the receiver.
⑨ Volume control: Adjusts the audio output volume.

Preparation for Use
Receiver Preparation
- Open the battery compartment (⑧). Insert the correct battery type: AA for MK-700, or 6LR61(9V) for MK-710, observing polarity.
- Turn the switch (⑥) to the ON position. If the green power indicator (⑤) does not light up, replace the batteries.
- Connect the receiver to your computer's sound card, stereo system, or amplifier using the 6.3 mm jack. An adapter for a 3.5 mm mini-jack may be required (not included).
Microphone Preparation
- Open the battery compartment (③). Insert 2 AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Turn the switch (②) to the ON position. If the power indicator (①) on the microphone is not lit, replace the battery.
- If sound quality deteriorates or the red indicator light turns on/flashes, replace the batteries in either the microphone or receiver. Adjusting the receiver's antenna position may also improve performance.
- Turning off the microphone may cause unwanted noise.
Attention Points
- Protect the unit from direct sunlight and rain.
- Keep the unit away from electromagnetic waves.
- Do not hold the microphone directly towards the speaker to avoid feedback.
