Diagrams and Dimensions
The AHE Series Air Handlers feature an A-shaped coil for high heat-transfer efficiency and low static-pressure drop. The unit is designed with foil-faced insulation to prevent energy loss. It supports 4-position installation: Upflow, Horizontal Right, Downflow, and Horizontal Left. Both horizontal and vertical condensate drain pans are standard, with primary and secondary condensate fittings.
Key Features and Components Illustrated:
- Low Voltage Inlets: Located on the top and sides for electrical connections.
- Supply Air Opening: Shown on the top and left side.
- Wiring Knockouts: Provided for electrical and communication wiring, with specific guidance to prevent running both through the same hole.
- Piping Plate Detail: Shows connections for liquid and suction lines, as well as primary and secondary drain pipes.
- Display Window: Located on the front panel, with a removable cover plate.
- Circuit Breaker: Accessible within the unit.
- Control Box: Situated behind the front panel.
- Filter Access: Integrated filter rack with toolless door access.
- Refrigerant Piping: Connections for liquid and suction lines.
