Lighted Facial Exfoliator
Product Overview
The Lighted Facial Exfoliator is designed for gentle exfoliation and removal of fine facial hair. It features an integrated light for better visibility and comes with replacement heads.

Product Components
The device consists of the following parts:
- Head: The exfoliating blade attachment.
- Top of the Handle: The upper section where the head attaches.
- Handle: The main body of the device.
- ON/OFF Button: Used to activate the device and its light.
- Replacement Head Ejection Button: Used to remove the used head.
- Battery Cap: Covers the battery compartment.
- AAA Battery: Powers the device.
- Replacement Tray: Holds multiple replacement heads.
Getting Started
Prior to First Use
Before using the exfoliator for the first time:
- Test the device on a small, discreet area of skin to check for any sensitivity or allergic reaction.
- If any sensitivity or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.
- The device is ready to use right out of the package.
The exfoliator is recommended for use on the forehead, above the upper brow, cheeks, upper lip area, and chin.
Insert/Remove Battery
To insert or replace the battery:
- Gently pull off the Battery Cap to access the battery compartment. (Refer to Image 1, showing a hand holding a AAA battery and the device's battery compartment, with the positive (+) end of the battery indicated).
- Place one AAA battery into the compartment, ensuring the positive pole (+) is facing the top of the unit.
- Push the Battery Cap back securely onto the Handle.
- Repeat these steps for battery replacement.
How to Use
This device is for DRY USE ONLY.
It is recommended to use the exfoliator at night, before bed, to allow skin time to recover.
Ensure treatments are spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart.
- Select a new, clean Dermaplane Head for each use.
- Hold the Handle with one hand and gently slide the cover off the head with the other hand. (Refer to Image 2, showing a hand holding the device and sliding a cover off the head).
- Press the ON/OFF Button to illuminate the area. (Refer to Image 3, showing the device with the light illuminated).
- For best results, hold the skin taut with your free hand and position the unit at a 45° angle relative to your skin. (Refer to Image 4, showing a woman holding her skin taut while using the exfoliator at a 45-degree angle).
- Use short, feathery strokes and gently skim across the skin. Begin at the hairline and move inward, following the contours of the face.
- Important: Do NOT press the Head down into the skin. No pressure should be applied. Pass over the same area only ONCE during each use.
- It is recommended to follow the pattern suggested for application. (Refer to Image 5, showing a diagram of a face with dotted lines indicating a suggested pattern).
Pro Tips and After Use
Pro Tips
After dermaplaning, allow your skin to rest. Do not use creams or make-up for several hours afterward.
After Use
- Allow skin to breathe for several hours before applying lotions, serums, or make-up.
- Applying make-up immediately after using the device is NOT recommended.
- Do not sunbathe directly after use.
Note: After use, skin may appear slightly pink or red. This is a normal reaction and should fade within a few hours. If redness or burning increases over time, discontinue use of the product.
Replacement Heads
Use a new Head for each use.
- Ensure the unit light is off before replacing the head.
- Remove the Head by sliding the Ejection Button down. (Refer to Image 6, showing a close-up of the device's head and the Ejection Button with an arrow indicating the slide direction).
- Discard the old Head.
- Hold the Replacement Tray securely with one hand. With the other hand, grasp the Handle.
- Hold the top of the Handle over a new Head. (Refer to Image 7A, showing the top of the handle being positioned over a new replacement head).
- Angle the top of the Handle down toward the top of the new Head. (Refer to Image 7B, showing the handle being angled downwards towards the new replacement head with an arrow).
- Press the top of the Handle down into the top of the new Head. (Refer to Image 7C, showing the top of the handle being pressed down into the new replacement head with an arrow).
- Rock the Handle backward, ensuring you press down until you hear the new head click into place. (Refer to Image 7D, showing the handle being rocked backward to secure the new head with an arrow).
- The unit is now ready for use with the new head. (Refer to Image 7E, showing the new head securely attached to the handle).
NOTE: DO NOT USE if the Replacement Head appears to be damaged.
Care and Maintenance
- Keep the cover on when handling the unit. Uncover only when you are ready to use it.
- For best results, dispose of the Head after each use.
- Make sure the unit is turned off after use.
- Do not submerge the unit in water or any other liquid.
- Store the unit in a dry, safe place.
Warnings
- DO NOT USE on unintended areas of the body, including lips, nose, and directly over the eyelids. The device is designed for use ONLY on the forehead, above the upper brow, cheeks, upper lip area, and chin.
- DO NOT USE on skin that is experiencing dryness, acne, sunburn, psoriasis, eczema, diabetes, circulatory or bleeding disorders, or on skin that has just been medically treated. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.
- DO NOT USE on moles, sores, or lesions.
- DO NOT rinse the Handle or unit under water, or submerge it in liquid.
- DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode.
- Dispose of old batteries according to all applicable local regulations.
- The product is not intended for persons 12 years of age or under.
