Device Overview
The BEEP Mini is a dual-zone digital thermometer designed for monitoring temperatures in various environments. The device features a clear display, multiple buttons for control, and indicators for status.
Key Components:
- Alarm Status indicator
- Battery Life Indicator
- Alarm Mode Indicator
- Temp Mode Indicator
- FRONT and BACK views
- Display Area: Shows current temperature readings, mode indicators (ALARM ON/OFF, LOW, HIGH, MAX, INT, EXT), and battery status.
- MAX/MIN Button: Cycles through maximum and minimum recorded temperatures.
- Logo Button: Controls backlight and cycles through channels.
- Up Arrow Button (⬆️): Adjusts settings upwards.
- Down Arrow Button (⬇️): Adjusts settings downwards.
- Alarm Button: Activates/deactivates alarms and confirms settings.
- Sensor Indicator (Internal / External): Shows which probe is active.
Calibration TRIM

Using Your BEEP Mini
Button Functions:
Logo Button
- Press once: Activates the backlight for 10 seconds.
- Press twice: Cycles through available temperature channels (internal/external probes).
- Press and hold (6 seconds): Changes the temperature unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
Max/Min Button
- Press: Displays the maximum recorded temperature for the internal channel.
- Press again: Displays the minimum recorded temperature for the internal channel.
- Press again: Displays the maximum recorded temperature for the external channel.
- Press again: Displays the minimum recorded temperature for the external channel.
- Press again: Returns the display to the default screen showing current temperature readings for active channels.
Timeout Feature
To conserve battery power, the display automatically reverts to the default screen if no button is pressed for 30 seconds.
Alarm Button Functions
- Press and Hold (2 seconds): Activates or deactivates the alarm for the currently selected channel.
- Press and Hold (6 seconds): Enters the alarm setting mode for the active channel.
- In alarm setting mode, High Alarm and Alarm Temperature indicators will flash.
- Use the Up Arrow ⬆️ and Down Arrow ⬇️ buttons to adjust the high alarm temperature in 1° increments.
- Press the Alarm Button to confirm the high alarm setting and proceed to adjust the low alarm temperature.
- Use the Up Arrow ⬆️ and Down Arrow ⬇️ buttons to adjust the low alarm temperature.
- Press the Alarm Button again to confirm the low alarm setting and exit the alarm settings menu, returning to the normal display.
Battery Installation
To replace the battery, use a 3-volt, CR2032 button-cell battery or equivalent. Use a coin to gently open the battery cover located on the back of the device. Install the new battery with the (+) positive side facing up, ensuring it is secured under the metal clip. Close the battery cover.
Cautions for Ambient Pro-Series® Probes
Proper care ensures the longevity and accuracy of your probe.
Usage Restrictions:
- Do not use the probe in an oven, smoker, or for cooking applications.
- The probe cable can be safely closed in a refrigerator or freezer door.
- To disconnect the probe, pull the molded mini-handle; do not pull on the cable itself.
- The probe cable is rated to withstand temperatures up to 158°F (70°C).
- The probe tip is immersible in water and is IP67 rated.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean the probe by wiping it with a damp cloth and mild kitchen cleaner. While the probe tip can be immersed, avoid cleaning the entire probe or cable in a dishwasher.
- Avoid repeatedly kinking or twisting the probe cable, as this can damage the internal wires.
- With proper care, the probe will provide reliable service. Replacement probes are available; use only ThermoWorks Pro-Series Probes.
Damage resulting from improper use or care as described above will void the probe warranty.
Cable Should Avoid:
Protect the probe cable from direct contact with:
- Flames ?
- Hot racks ⚙️
- Coals ?
- Heating elements ⚡
- Sharp kinks ?
Damage from these sources will void the probe warranty.
