Installation Clearances
The left diagram illustrates the required clearances for the appliance installation niche. It specifies:
- A minimum ventilation area of 200 cm² is required at the top of the niche.
- A minimum ventilation area of 200 cm² is required at the bottom of the niche.
- A minimum side clearance of 560 mm is required on each side of the appliance cavity.
- The installation niche height must be between 1771 mm and 1774 mm.
Appliance Dimensions
The right diagram presents the external dimensions of the appliance:
- The depth of the appliance is 540 mm (as viewed from the top) and 550 mm (as viewed from the front).
- The overall height of the appliance is 1769 mm.
- The upper compartment of the appliance has a height of 1005 mm.
- The lower compartment of the appliance has a height of 640 mm.
- The thickness of the door or drawer front is 41 mm.
- The height of the base or kickplate is 33 mm.
These dimensions and clearances are critical for ensuring proper installation and ventilation of the appliance.
