FQA (Frequently Asked Questions)
1. What is the WiFi password for the Wireless CarPlay Adapter?
Connection is made via Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi. After successful Bluetooth matching, the Wi-Fi connection is established automatically. No Wi-Fi password is required. Ensure your Wi-Fi is turned on and not in use by other devices during pairing.
2. Audio Input/Output Issues (calls rejected, voicemail, no sound, microphone issues, interrupted playback, abnormal voice function)
1) Check your iPhone's Bluetooth settings. If it's connected to another Bluetooth device (e.g., Apple Watch, earphones), disconnect those devices or turn off Bluetooth.
2) During a call, verify that the Audio output option is set to CarPlay.
Note: Bluetooth is primarily for the initial pairing. Once paired, the adapter relies on WiFi for operation, so turning off Bluetooth after pairing is acceptable.
3. The adapter's blue indicator light remains on after the car is turned off?
This is normal. Cars often maintain a low power state after being turned off, preventing the adapter's light from extinguishing immediately. The power consumption is minimal and will not drain your car battery.
4. Can the iPhone use other internet WiFi while using the wireless CarPlay adapter?
No. When the wireless CarPlay adapter is active, your iPhone's WiFi is occupied by the adapter. You cannot use other internet sources simultaneously. You can use your iPhone's cellular data (SIM card) for internet access.
5. Unable to automatically reconnect
1) Ensure your iPhone's Bluetooth and WiFi functions are enabled and that Bluetooth is not occupied when you enter the car.
2) The wireless CarPlay Adapter should automatically reconnect to your iPhone upon subsequent use.
3) Try clearing the pairing record on your iPhone, restarting the iPhone, and then re-pairing the adapter.
6. Can the adapter be paired with multiple iPhones?
The adapter supports pairing with up to five iPhones, but only one can be actively connected at a time. To pair with a new iPhone, cancel the current connection first. By default, the adapter will automatically connect to the last used iPhone.
7. Cannot find the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for the Wireless CarPlay Adapter?
Verify that the wireless CarPlay adapter's blue power indicator light is on and that it is plugged into the correct port for wired Apple CarPlay.
If possible, test with another iPhone. If only a specific iPhone fails to detect the adapter's Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, try resetting the network and Bluetooth settings on that iPhone and then restarting it. If the issue persists across multiple iPhones, the adapter may be defective; please contact support.
