Height | approx. 130 cm |
Application pad size | approx. 18 x 14 cm |

3. Intended Use
The system is suitable for processing water-soluble and solvent-based wood preservatives, paints, oils, and other floor care materials. Do not use flammable materials with a flame symbol (). Any other use than described in this manual is not permitted.
4. Surface Pre-treatment
- Thoroughly clean surfaces (e.g., with a pressure washer outdoors) and allow them to dry before painting.
- Remove cracked, loose, or insufficiently durable boards.
- Sand any load-bearing surfaces if necessary (using sandpaper).
Note: When working on elevated terraces, material may drip down (e.g., through the gaps between boards). Cover all surfaces and objects below.
5. Material Preparation
- Observe the material manufacturer's instructions.
- Note the most important information about the material used (e.g., brand and color) for future reference.
6. Assembly
Depending on how your Renuvo was packaged, some of the following assembly steps may be necessary.
- Hold the lower connecting tube (image 1, c) vertically and remove the adhesive strips sealing the tube.
- The lower connecting tube contains a rod (d). If it falls out, reinsert it with the wider side facing down.
- The holes on the side of the lower connecting tube are of different sizes. Rotate the upper connecting tube so that the pins align with the corresponding holes.
- Push the pins (image 1, a) downwards and slide the upper connecting tube (b) into the lower connecting tube (c).
- Ensure the pins audibly click into place.
- Press the red quick-release lock (image 2, a) and insert the application pad into the holder. Release the quick-release locks and gently pull the application pad to check if it is securely attached.
7. Commissioning
Note: If necessary, cover floors and furniture in the vicinity of the work area to protect them from splashes.
- If you want to paint a smooth surface without joints outdoors, pull the grout brush out from the outdoor application pad and insert it on the other side. (Image 3)
- Place the device with the container opening facing upwards on a piece of protective material. (Image 4) Unscrew the container lid. Fill the container with a maximum of 1.9 liters. Screw the lid back on securely.
8. Adjusting Material Flow
Material flow regulator (Image 5):
- Slide the regulator upwards to reduce material flow (recommended for thin materials).
- Slide the regulator downwards to increase material flow (recommended for thick materials).
Trigger lever:
- Press the trigger lever to allow material to flow to the application pad. (Image 6, a)
- Release the trigger lever to stop material flow. (Image 6, b)
9. Working with Renuvo
General:
- Press the trigger lever to allow material to flow to the application pad.
- Hold the application pad flat against the surface to be painted and move it back and forth with light pressure to evenly distribute the material.
- Always finish a stroke with a forward motion to avoid streaks.
- Press the trigger lever if you need more material. Be careful not to oversaturate the application pad.
- For optimal results, ensure the application pad is evenly supplied with material, so it is neither too wet nor too dry.
Note: A second coat may be necessary to achieve the desired surface quality.
- Always finish a section before taking a break to avoid visible transitions.
- Place the application pad in a plastic bag during longer breaks to prevent it from drying out. The application pad works like a sponge. Do this just before finishing the work to utilize the material remaining in the application pad.
Outdoor:
- Align the marking (image 7, b) on the top of the application pad with the joints (a) in the wooden floor. This ensures that the inside of the joint is painted with the brush.
- Always start on the left side of the surface when using the application pad with the grout brush.
Indoor:
- Perform a test application on an arbitrary spot (e.g., a corner of the room).
- Absorb excess oil after approx. 15 minutes with a cotton cloth.
- Use the detachable mini corner pad (image 8, c) to evenly distribute material in corners and edges.
10. Cleaning
Use a cleaning agent suitable for the material (refer to the material manufacturer's recommendations).
For solvent-based materials, use mineral spirits or similar. Do not use flammable materials with a flame symbol (). Do not immerse the application pad and components in cleaning agents; simply rinse them.
Note: For water-based materials, we recommend warm water with a little dish soap for cleaning.
- Press the red quick-release locks (Image 9, a) and remove the container. Unscrew the lid and pour any remaining material back into the original container.
- Fill the container with a suitable cleaning agent (Image 10).
- Reinsert the container. Ensure it audibly clicks into place.
- Hold the Renuvo over an empty container.
- Press and hold the trigger lever and turn the device upside down until the container is empty. (Image 11) Gentle movements will help remove material residues from the Renuvo.
- Remove the application pad and grout brush and clean all parts thoroughly. (Image 12)
- Remove the container and rinse it thoroughly. (Image 13) Pay particular attention to the area around the valve. (Image 13, a)
- Unscrew the container lid. (Image 14)
- Pull out the tube (image 15, a) and rinse it thoroughly (the tube does not need to be disassembled).
- Remove all material residues from the valve using a soft brush and cleaning agent (image 16, b). Important: Do not remove the valve for cleaning. If the valve is incorrectly inserted, material will not flow out of the container.
- Allow the cleaning agent to flow through the valve by pressing the valve actuator, which is cross-shaped (image 17, c).
- Reattach the black tube to the valve (image 18).
- Wipe the inside of the container cap with a cloth.
- Screw the lid back onto the container and tighten it by hand. (Image 19).
- Lubricate the O-ring with a thin layer of grease. (Image 20)
Note: Allow the container to dry completely before storing.
- Reinsert the container.
